'morning Folks,

The snow is flying--just as predicted! Shoveling felt good! Most exercise I got all winter at one time. Later will come the more difficult part of removing what the plow pushes up at the end of the driveway. For you southern folk who never had the pleasure of shoveling that sort of thing, it's heavy, and unappealingly black from road dirt.

Not much else on the agenda today. Everything is closed anyway, including the town and county offices. Even the mall is closed...

Youz guys have a nice day,

JM

Good morning to all. My life has settled down to an acceptable state. My house remodeling is finally finished, Spring is in the near future, and I just finished my research on why my b/p had become sky high several months ago. My doctors could not refute my evidence so had to agree..I took myself off two medications and have a daily normal b/p of 110/56

Of course the nurse seemed somewhat shocked that I would "dare" change my own medications and tell the doc why. Poor thing....she is one of those Yesers to the God like figures in the clinic. :floorrollin:

The puppies are doing great although Rommel has done a lot of moaning and groaning over not being allowed outside for more than 5 minutes in -19 degrees with -45 windchill. I have told him he could freeze his winky binkie but he just does not understand.

Have a great day!!! :)

So called "major storm" fizzles in the Northeast !

Snowstorm was a dud just as I predicted last night ! They were calling for 30 inches and we are lucky if we got SIX ! LMAO ! I saw the signs of the storm falling apart CLEARLY at about 9 last night and I told a few of my friends who needed to make plans about it. I'll never understand how some people get PAID for forcasting weather when I can do so much better almost EVERY time just by studying all the different maps ! It's absolutely NUTS !

It all depends on where in the northeast you live. I have 22 inches of new snow on top of what remained for the recent weeks of lake effect. Fortunately it's winding down. Good thing nobody told me it was likely to be a dud. I might have made plans to do something, and all government offices and local businesses are closed. A snowmobile did go down the highway earlier, but I haven't seen a plow in hours.
