'morning Folks, Former President Ford's funeral takes place today--federal holiday. No snail mail, and other government offices will also be closed. Winter has returned to the northeast for a day. The overnight low was still 20 degrees above average, but it did go below freezing. The local weather guy read of a list of weather records for last year. Greatest number of record highs; tie for the wettest year (missed by .6/in.); most rainfall in one day..... and on and on. Today's high should be in the 30's, then high in the 40's for the rest of the week, with a possible 50 by Friday. There were also weather records in Texas, and other places. The record for Houston was something about the average daily high of 80.4. I don't even want to think about that one.....months of 80+, no thanx. Hoping your weather is better than that: youz guys have a good day, JM |
