About Mussolini. With Antonio Banderas.

About 1993 vintage.

Dubbed in English. Not even Banderas' voice I think and the words don't match the lips.

Anyway, I thought Man this movie is still on and on and on. I checked the box.

307 minutes.

I haven't even got to the second disk yet.

The second part is very short. I'd expected another marathon like Friday Saturday, but it was over before I knew it. Ends where most know the rest of the story.

History can be so unfair to people sometimes. They should have called this "The Lighter Side of Mussolinni." The poor man was just being used.

Looked like the movie people were trying to place this "hero" right up there beside Jesse James or something.

Right, seemed to be trying to put a human face on the man. He was used, it seems, as he used others. Think the movie made a fine point, he wasn't really a socialist, more of a populist opportunist.
