Well, I am taking a well deserved rest from the fair tax grind to report on the fair tax and our progress. Since I last posted some things have happened here in north Florida. We have appeared at several festivals to obtain signaturtes on fair tax petitions, and have always been well received. Last Monday we went to a local Independance Day event on the 3rd and had 159 sign in 3 hours. Next Sunday we will be at the local Democrat PArty BBQ to educate the candidates on the benefits of the fair tax. Monday the 10th we will be at a general meeting here in Gainesville for all our supporters. The restaurant is donating the space (another supporter). I wrote a guest editorial for the local weekly paper, with a plug for the meeting and a bio for me. (Published today)Also, I am now the community coordinator in G'ville. At last count there were 56 Congressmen and 4 Senators co-sponsoring the Fair Tax. It's getting bigger all the time and of course that's the idea since "Power concedes nothing without demand" we will supply the demand to get the IRS out of the USA. I'll try to get back here soon. |

Hey, Frank, how are ya! Keep up the good fight. I get email from Fairtax and try to keep up. The Libertarian Newsletter has something every month too, on-going debate. |
