'morning Folks,

The holiday weekend is well underway! Traffic around here, on the State highway, was almost non-existent last night, and I've only seen a few cars while I've been sitting here this morning.

The sun just came out over the Catskills, although the local campgrounds are well soaked after yesterday's rain. Weather for the remainder of the weekend looks better, and it is warm! Mid-60's over night, and near 90 by mid week.

I have no big plans for the weekend--finish planting potatoes, maybe lettuce and radishes, fill the big pots for the pepper and tomato plants, and hang out.

Yawl have a good day, stay cool, stay warm(Canada mainly), stay dry, and drive carefully,

JM

Good morning...cool and foggy here, but due to get warm by Sunday and in the 90's by Monday. The A/C will be running by tomorrow afternoon.

No plans for the weekend, but to get a little gardening and yard work in. The traffic already is roaring past the house, so I am glad to stay here. Monday I MIGHT go to Rhode Island to visit my daughters Ros and Jenn and their families for a cookout at Jenn and Kyle's campground (they are seasonals). But not if it's as hot as I think it'll be...

Good morning, all,

It's nearly 10:30 and just pried myself out of bed after another night of observing. Poked my nose outside the trailer and it's gonna be a hot one today! Sitting in the middle of a treeless field in north central Florida is not one of the prettiest places in the world, but it sure makes for good observing.

After having the place nearly to myself Thursday night, people began coming in yesterday and there will be more today. I'll get some photos of the field and telescopes later on and post 'em; need to show I'm not the only crazy one out there! Amateur astronomy isn't one of the bigger hobbies, so a gathering like this - informal though it may be - is like a gathering of the family clan. Always familiar faces and old friends, but a great opportunity to meet new folks as well.

Hope everyone enjoys the holiday weekend.

Well it is chilly here Currently: 7° /45°

Still have the heat on and it is still raining.

Took Nicole shopping for some grad stuff like purse, makeup..girl stuff.

I did not want to get out of bed, I am so tired plus the weather change plays with my headaches.

She likes to shop just like her Auntie ( my daughter ) not me.. :nono:

Grad is only 13 days away :faint:

note: Nice photo Heather

Hmm... late afternoon here in NW PA. It's been a nice day (70s and a little humid after a rainy Friday). I did a little yard work, changed the fuel filter on my Dutch Star and changed the oil and filter on the Onan generator. I suppose that's half the fun for the male RVer. My wife is on her way back from visiting our son in NC, should be pulling in at about 7:00 PM Eastern. My daughter and granddaughter have been holding down the fort for the past 10 days. I ran the sweeper in the dining and living rooms and made the bed so she doesn't know how much we missed her.

:) A happy, safe, memorial, Memorial Day weekend to all.
