Well, I'm racking my brain here, but of course I can't think of any real ACTIVITY to help, at a long distance. But by gum, we are all hear to listen and support, in any way we can.

HOLY COW! This is a bit of a mind-melt..... :faint:

That is a revolting development; especially surprising a new mother would leave her baby behind.  Is there a note?  Have you called the police?

Yes to a note, and yes to the police. What a mess

I'm thinking it might be some form of depression, that and she is much younger than I am, but it was her idea to have a child now, so who knows..

We want them close in age and be done by the time we are in our mid-thirties. So, only time will tell.

Good thing we both have stable careers otherwise this wouldn't be possible.

What a state of affairs you have found yourself in. Hope the baby is doing all right. Must be difficult since she has colic and she's only four days old.

You may have ups and downs but the baby is blessed with a loving father.

mind melt, yes, can I do that? :floorrollin:

I was wanting to wallow in some serious self-pity

But that won't acomplish anything so I won't.

There are times in my life where I wished I drank, but I don't and my daughter needs me now more than ever.

Hey thanks for letting me vent, I promise that tomorrow I will be in a better mood and let this all fall behind me.

Well, I( was away today seeing my Dad, and have a couple things to tend to for a short time tonight, but I'll be back in a while - and around tomorrow....

Somehow that doesnt sound like much, but it's all I can come up with for now.

Is this the day that MIL was supposed to show up - ie, is there a connection?

ps - I've drank enough for both of us over the years - believe me, it rarely does any good.

I changed her formula to the non-iron type, and she seems to be doing good on it. She isn't hurling anymore so that has to be a good sign.

My sister will come and stay with me for awhile until I get everything figured out, my family is always good in a crisis. My mom said she saw this coming when Ellen was worried about her figure and was worried that she made a mistake. Of course Ell never voiced these worries to me, and she and I could talk about anything or so I thought.

I just didn't see the writting on the wall for some stupid reason :fryingpan: :fryingpan:
