Thank you all. Expect it's going to take awhile for the fact to finally sink in. It's the first time I've been without a job for 38 years.

Incroyable!

Eric, congratulations on your retirement!!! It may take some time getting used to not working.

I came home from my ride and Ellen has asked me to take a few days off and pack the rigs and take some of my buddies to a remote part of the desert (I wonder if this is a nice way to tell me to take a hike) LOL Tonight I will load the toys into the 5'er and take off early tomorrow morning. I will grab my brother and he and I will go where the road takes us. We will most likely end up near Death Valley somewhere to ride until we can't ride anymore. I told Ell we will be back in a couple of days, probably be back by Thursday night. She is in good hands here with her Mother and would like some alone time with her.

So, I will not be online for the next few days (not that you will miss me)

    :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

Have a good week everyone!! I will give you a holler when I get back to town! :pistols: :pistols: :pistols:

Actually Derrick, we do wonder what's up with people when they turn up missing for a few days.... have a fun safe trip...stay cool,

Wow, turn my back for three days and look what happens! We get a new member (welcome, Mojave Green; I love your screen name), a new baby (welcome, Elisabeth; I love your name too!), and a retirement (congratulations, Eric! ).

I was so glad I stayed that extra night. The day was halfway decent; we did a lot of visitiing; Gerry offered to drive me around and we went up to Saratoga to visit my brother and his SIL who were working on an old house (new to SIL, his wife and little girl). Then we had a very fun potluck in Wilma and Frank's MH; twelve people altogether, and watched movies of last year and this year's rallies. (Pat, almost the entire Yankee Swap is on there, including Ackmal trying to entice you to be one of his many wives. :floorrollin: ). This morning Wilma and Frank took Gerry and me to breakfast; Gerry's treat. They are good people.

I got home about 2; been busy ever since trying to get the van cleaned out and the indoor work caught up. More tomorrow.

Terri has been pushing me to drink lots of water to rehydrate myself....she sez "I can imagine how much you drank this weekend"

Rick, glad to hear you are getting rehydrated. Keep it up; the next rally is only 370 days away (the weekend after Mother's Day, next year).

I want you to know I did NOT try to peek into your open camper....
