'morning Folks!

Not too much rain around the upstate NY area. But I'm not sure how dry the mid-west rally folks are this a.m.. It's cool and cloudy here...but that's the forecast for the next several days. I have to get the 4th side of the TT waxed this morning before the rain comes back.

(strong) Coffee's on, help yourself, and whoever empties the pot can make more. If you have big plans for Mother's Day: Enjoy yourself. If you have small plans, have a good time. Yawl have a good day. Stay warm, stay cool, stay dry,

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's at Campfire Soapbox.

Woke up early to find a bird in the house. That's what I get for leaving the door open when I run outside to do something. :)
Coffee's great, thanks JohnM...........

Good Morning! Or should I say good afternoon. Wow, stayed up late last night, and just rolled over and went back to sleep this morning. Actually, feels good. Got nuthin' to do, and all day to do it. Kylie is coming over and bringing her Mom and Dad with her this morning. She finally agreed they could stay. She is convinced that Gramma and Gramps are her exclusive playmates.

Well, it will be a good day. I get to have Kylie AND hot dogs. Boy, what more could a guy ask for.

Anyway, gotta run. Happy Mother's Day to all. Those that are rallying, enjoy.

Well Nicole left and hour ago to dog sit. I don't think she wanted to go today. I will not see her till this evening. My friend pays her to dog sit her Doberman and a small dog. They just love Nicole.

So I am going to poke around here for a bit and go back to bed

I will pick up some flowers later to place for Mom.

Enjoy your day

Since mothers deserve only the best and Cheryl is a mom, I got a couple of Happy Mother's Day banners and put them on the sides of the pick-up truck, put a lawn chair in the back and will be driving Cheryl around town in her own special parade.  (remember dear, lean into the corners... :floorrollin: )

Wife just reminded what day it is. :D Hope "MOM" is not too bright and distracting! I can change it.

Well today is the second day Ellen is officially a mother so I went out late last night and bought her a 3 stone diamond ring. I will give it to her as soon as she and the baby wake up.

I have also arrained for her Mother to come to California for a two week visit to help out with the baby..Good thing Ell's mom and I are good friends or the next two weeks would be sheer hell :floorrollin:

I'm going to have to hide your post from my wife. But she may forgive me for not giving her that diamond ring some 32 years ago, remembering that we just couldn't have afforded it.

You did good. :tiphat:

With all the overtime I have put in at work I figured I could find good use for the money..Although while shopping I did see a nice table saw but decided against it knowing Ellen wouldn't use it if I were to get it for her for Mother's Day

The gals are still asleep, and I am bored out of my mind, it is already too hot for me to go on a morning ride so I will sit here and read the forum.

Hope "MOM" is not too bright

Geez, I had to think for a bit about this, guess I should have noticed the "s. But I finally got it... Old brain=slow brain, but it beats the alternative...

Add my wishes for a Happy Mother's Day to all the Ladies, and "better half's" of the guys here.

Derrick " The gals are still asleep," - - - Are they already home, or was it a home-birth? Either way, you're a braver man than I, Gunga Din. ;)

No home birth, but they let her and the baby go home yesterday. Ellen hates hospitals (actually she works in a hospital, she just hates being the patient) :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

Baby woke up and I fed her and she went back to sleep. Ellen is out like a light, which is good she needs her rest. Mother-in-law is due to arrive later today and Ell has no idea that she is coming.

I need all the courage I can get, this child of mine throws up more than she consumes :faint: I wonder if we should get different formula? This stuff has iron in it and I know I can't take iron or I will hurl too.

We're home, we're pooped, we had a ball :) More later, but the names will mean little to you since you aren't on that Rally thread. 52 rigs, weather was amazingly good - like sun and no rain all day Saturday. Too much food, too many Jello shots (well, Rick might want to discuss those.) Where can you go for $20 a night and have Jello shots delivered? Lots of old friends, lots of new ones, and a wonderful thing to see - Agckmal and three of his wives came for the Yankee Swap ;) Chrissy and Jackie, especially, you can imagine how Agckmal rocked the room! I was running the Yankee Swap so he had sandmailed me, but it was hysterical. He did swap the wives...Heather was staying until tomorrow. Rick was leaving after we did - he, er, slept in a little. LOL.

Derrick, welcome and congratulations to both you and your wife on your new daughter! What a great Mother's Day gift - the baby, not the ring, but the ring is a beautiful gesture...I know Ellen will treasure it.

New babies - hey, you'll be a pro in no time. Poor, but a pro ;) Vomit normally isn't as much as it looks like, but if she is spitting up constantly, like every feeding, tell your pediatrician. You guys will get the hang of it. Much happiness to all of you.

My chickens are checking in - Derrick, we have four daughters. Leave home when puberty starts, says my husband :)

Julie, hope you didn't freeze or get s***ed on in Wisconsin :)

When puberty starts I will lock her in the closet :floorrollin: Or better yet take her out in the desert to go riding with her daddy.

She won't be allowed to date until she is 25 :floorrollin:

Ell thinks we should buy guns lots of guns and be cleaning them when her date arrives to pick her up :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

Ell wants a house full of kids so as soon as she has a clean bill of health she wants to start on #2 :fryingpan: :fryingpan: :fryingpan:
