Good morning, all!

Still just overcast here but the forecast is worse than dismal from tonight on...it's downright horrible. I am doing enough broccoli to feed the free world, I'm afraid. Overestimated just a tad. I'll leave some home. Rallies are fun no matter what the weather is, though. Go Wisconsin and NY!!!

Laundry to finish, etc...

Have a day :)

Rick, have you found everything you need?

Is your brother still coming with you? Are you both using the pop-up?

....No on both questions...he backed out to head to Mrytle Beach for some Motorcycle thing....he was going to leave from the Rally, but his friends conviced him to go down early.....oh well, I guess I won't see him for another year. He has a big 5ver with a garage for his bike and an International Tow Master Elite for a tow vehicle. I'm still searching for items, but I'll make due with what I have.

Now that sounds like something I could use. I'll try it. Thanks!

Maybe no results today; busy getting ready for the Rainy Rally....

Rick, sorry we won't have a chance to meet your brother. He doesn't know what he's missing!

I predict most of our time will be huddled around the big fireplace. I am bringing a couple of shopping bags of wood. Doubt there will be any campfires...:(

Configure it so when you press the PrintScreen key cross-hairs appear on the screen. You drag the cross-hairs to outline a rectangular portion of the screen. When you lift your finger the cut portion appears in a window (and on the clip-board) to be saved, pasted into another app, or edited.

I've been using a (free) program called ScreenHunter 4.0 for years that appears to do the same job. Either save the image to the clipboard or disk for uploading to picturetrail. In fact, the text in my sig next to the weather icon isn't really there. It's a picture of the text--this method keeps the text and the weather icon on the same lines. A very useful tool indeed.

ScreenHunter 4.0 (free) is available <<HERE>>

Good morning .

JohnM you are spoiling me, oh I love it. A girl (and I loose that term loosely :) ) can get very used to all this attention.
Keep it up but loose the discussion about the Florida weather.

I think Ken took a few sips of my coffee this morning, he sounding very happy cheerful.. Well maybe more than a few sips. :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:
It could be the nutrition bar he's been eating.

Good to hear Toni's coming home from the hospital, let us know how's she's doing.

Plenty of rain here last night, as Dave said summer weather is upon us. We did have lots of rain last night. It's the love bugs that are the problem now. They will ruin the paint job on a car or MH.......
We're waiting for an inspection of the steel that's at the bottom of footer. I'm talking new constructioin for patio........ :)
Rick, Pat and Heather, hope the weather forecast improve for the rally.

Karen, you don't need to get sick, wear a mask.

Julie, chocolate lovers delight will go great with Irish coffeee in the morning. You also have fun at the rally.

Out with friends for dinner tonight. :)

Forget the coffee and the chocolate - I'm frying bacon!!! And testing it now and again. My broccoli salad calls for a pound of bacon, but who will know the difference, right???
I got this off brand that was on sale (3# for $5.00) and only bought a pound. I'll buy more. Really good bacon. Ole Carolina - never heard of it. It's tasty.

One more shot and I think I will yell. Oh wait, I did yell. The worst one had the smallest needle. The blood gas one. Anyone ever had one of those? Ow, ow, ow, ow.

It turned out to be not as bad as it looked when I went to the hospital. The first step was to get them to stop saying, "You drove to the emergency room with this?" I was really worried about Orson, since it looked like I might be there for awhile. It certainly felt that way. I'm not afraid to tell you that I was really scared. Just taking a breath caused shooting pains in the heart. I'm not a medical doctor, but I knew that this was not a good thing. That new navigation system I installed just paid for itself. It knew where to find the nearest hospital and told me how to get there.

As bad as it felt, it was not really all that serious. Pericarditis. The muscles around the heart squeezed it, causing the pain. Very sharp pain, I might add. One of the nurses offered to let Orson stay with her two dogs on their farm and even went out to make sure he had enough water. I gave her the keys and Orson's code word. She told me that the difference was like night and day. She unlocked the door and Orson's hackles went up and he growled at her. She said the magic word and he was all waggies. It is good to know that it works.

We will stay in the parking lot here for awhile. They gave me a lot of morphine last night and I don't want to drive until that is out of my system. The medication for the actual problem is pretty mild. It is essentially a very strong version of Motrin to relax the muscles. What felt like a life-threatening situation turned out to be not much of anything, but it surely was scary at the time.

I am baking cookies for the nurses and other patients, by the time I'm finished with this, I can probably drive. Thanks to those who sent pm's inquiring about my health. It will take awhile to get to each of them, but thank you all.

Doc, thanks for the report. We were really worried. I am glad you and Orson are all right, and the staff there sounds very understanding.

Now are those cookies heart-healthy? :)

I was wondering about you  ...........thanks for the update. How nice the nurse offered to take care of Orson, I know you were probably more worried about him that you were about yourself.

Doc, that had to be scary as all heck....as Chrissy said, you probably more worried about Orson  .....maybe you can talk to the boss about giving you more free time and not pressure you so much so you can go for more of those relaxing hikes

I'm not a medical doctor either, Doc, but I agree with you. Good to see ya back in one piece! :tiphat:

Pat, it was a sudden thing. I was driving down the road when I suddenly had severe heart pain. Very bad and very strong. It was scary stuff. I was just driving down the road, when I got this very sharp pain in myn chest. I had to pull to the side of the road because this pain was so strong. I was afraid I would die while driving and kill a lot of people.

I opened the door to the mh, so Orson would not be trapped inside if I died. I thought it was that close. He was really scared. He was doing his best to help me. Once I figured out that I was not going to die then and there, we set out for the nearest hospital. We were both really scared. Fear is contageous, so you know what he felt.

Yikes that's scary!

Glad you are ok.

How did you teach Orson the code word so he'd know it is ok when other people use it?

I hope you all have a good weekend. We are off in the morning and I may be on and I may not. The weather forecast is less than promising - it's downright awful.
If we had just planned to camp for the weekend, we quite frankly would stay home, but...we are going to Rally On!
We will be wet, I'm afraid, but it will be great to see old friends and make some new ones. Plus, I offered to store Jello shots for John and Mary so how bad can it be? So many nice folks over there...it will be fun. JohnM, I'm tellin' ya - drive up to Deer Run. Northway to Exit 9 and follow the signs. Site 159...

I think Julie and Greg are probably going to see the same thing in Wisconsin, but I feel they have the same attitude. They do not have my Jello shots, however!!!

Psst...don't tell Julie, but I did actually hear the s*** word for Wisconsin.

Hasta la vista :)
