It's a beautiful Mornng. A bit chilly, but we can deal with it. Get to see my Grand Daughter after work while the kids go to a ball game. This works out great. They think I am doing them a favor, and they buy pizza and all kinds of stuff to make up for it. I ain't telling them any different. Kylie and pizza. It don't get much better.

Well, I rode my scooter to work yesterday, and it was a bit chilly. Then of course I had to ride it home. It rained about 30 minutes yesterday. Anyone care to guess which 30 minutes it rained.

This mornig, I dressed warmer, and wore gloves. This morning, it was really cold on the ride. I made it, but I sure will be glad when weather is no longer a factor.

Well, my salisbury steak is ready, and the coffee is hot, so I am outta here.

Be Of Good Cheer!!!

Ken,
Have you ever come to the Gator Nationals? I'm at work, but leaving for my weekly doctor visit in a few minutes. Nice weather here, slightly cool in the morning and warm right through sundown; if the weather was like this all the time, I couldn't afford to live here. See you all later.

Good morning, Sunny and warm today, weather man sez 80*......I don't believe him. Caught an extra 2 hours sleep this morning...had to, got a wake up call last night, I think I nodded off at the wheel.....don't remember or just didn't realize I was going for an off road adventure till I hit all the loose stuff way out there on the shoulder....rocks and crap kicking up all over the bottom of my truck....thats what got my attention, but we're OK, made it home. Wolfie, how's the household holding up ?, things getting better ? . Got the camper registered yesterday, now I gotta try to find all my camping equiptment before the rally next week :faint:

John;

Haven't been to a "Gatornational" event. I have some family in Georgia, and some racing friends in Northern Florida. We would like to bring the car down next time we visit and maybe make a pass or two down the track at Gainesville.

Thanks, Ken, :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

'morning Folks,

Forecast high today is 76F, so I'm sitting around waiting patiently in a tank top and shorts! I am freezing...even with the heat on (yeah, I could get a sweater, but it's spring). I have some inside things to do first, then I will get out and finish turning the garden. Tomorrow the coach and truck will get a bath, since the rain has been taken out of the forecast. Looks like a drought pattern is setting in after all. :dunno:

Tomorrow is also opening day at East Sidney Lake CG. I called yesterday to give up the best site in the park, since there is no practical way to use it enough this season. I know that things like this turn out for the best, I'm only pissed because.... well, I'll get over it... :fryingpan: :fryingpan: :fryingpan:

Sharon has an appointment in Albany this a.m. that she has to keep, and the hospital didn't know what the plans were for Toni's treatment today anyway. Pain meds weren't working well, not even the morphine machine, where you push the button yourself, so Toni had a rough night. Sharon fell asleep last night during our bed-time phone call, and I did the same for an hour. As the phone company says, "It's the next best thing to being there."

Oh well, AVG and Firefox have just finished downloading upgrades, and both want to restart my computer, so yawl have a good day,

JM

Couldn't resist :)

Don't fall asleep again :fryingpan: :fryingpan: Glad you are okay.

Hi, all!
Gorgeous day here too. They say 73, but like Rick, I have my doubts. Oh, well...it's lovely any way you look at it.

Poor Sharon and Toni - hoping for better news.

Getting a hair cut...excitement, right?

Have a day ;)

Good Morning, going to hit 90 today, but I'm not complaining. :fryingpan: :fryingpan: :fryingpan:

Ken, enjoy your time with Kylie.........don't eat too much pizza.
Do you think you should drive a car to work, beats getting wet.Posted Image

Passinthru and I are very close to the track in Gainesville....Let us know, would love to to meet you, watch you race.
John, how are you feeling these days? Good luck at the doctors.

Rick, please be careful........I'm sorry Frank and I won't be at the rally, we have great memories. I'll look forward to hearing all about it from youse guys.............. :floorrollin: Pat and Heather too. :) I would say don't drink too much, but..................

JohnM, thanks for the info., about Sharon and her daughter. Tell her we're thinking of her.

Pat, have a nice day. What's going on with "the room"....... Love is cooler that is so "Beer Belly".........

Here's another pot of coffee, I think Ken drank it all.

I'm so excited, when I charge enough to my Bloomingdales account you occasionally get "gift certificates" back in the form of cash.......Ususally they come in a separate envelope, now they attach them to your statement.
I have four 25.00 dollar certificates.......I am off to Orlando to use them before they expire............Bloomies here I come.

Chrissy,
Feeling pretty good, actually. Doctor's office was a little upset with me in that I missed a day of meds last week; still what they call "therapeutic" but not where they want me to be. We'll see how well I do next week; I could get you all involved and get someone to post each evening about 8pm, "Did you take your meds???" But I'd probably miss it too. :fryingpan:

John, do you have an alarm you can set?

Thanks Rick, yes things are getting back to normal a bit more each day. I still get really tired fast and I forget and  half asleep kinda spring out of bed. That stops you fast.

Nicole shared her cold with me :faint: oh well. One way of looking at it, we get to spend a week together rather then passing in the hall in the am and a few hours at night.

Ken, is that your breakfast or with my time difference your lunch? They almost sound like a TV dinner.

Had a few words with my " x" last night. He is in late stage 3 of his cancer. Now he is using it to try manipulate me and push my buttons..worked for a bit but I cut him off short last night..I think he is :biting: at me.. ohhhhhhh well.
Wrong approach to use in my view anyway. You don't walk back into a persons life after 25 yrs and think you can pick up where you left of.. :unbelievable:

sorry :slap: was a rough night

now for some happy thoughs

opps mistake

I only forgot one day in five or six weeks; doubt I'd remember to set the alarm that often. ;) Thanks for the idea though.
Getting old sucks; I probably started to the back to take the pills and then decided something else was more urgent and then forgot all about the pills. :banghead:

Maybe you need one of those little rectangular cases with the days of the week on them and you fill them with your meds. You know, the kind old people use :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

I went to get my hair cut and spent more on "product" than I spent on the cut :( Since I am consolidating trips in the car, I also went to Staples for business cards to print. Then, since Marshall's is in the same mall as Staples...well, that's where we went downhill fast - but oh, so fun! Cutest little Carter's summer outfits for the little girls...a bathing suit for Mimi, and a cute little velour hoodie with a zipper for Mimi, and two framed prints for Mimi's house...such bargains.
