I am announcing my resignation as leader of Seasonings, as of tonight. This is the letter I wrote to Chris.

Quote:

My daughter Ros has breast cancer and will be having radiation starting this week, in June I have a granddaughter coming from Texas for two weeks, and in July I leave for a month in Alaska. It's just too much.

Don't worry, Seasonings will take care of itself as it always has; I will continue to contribute as I can, and may even write a guest column for the newsletter now and again. Jane can handle it easily.

Sorry, it's been a long time coming, but my mind is made up.

I will still be here every morning that I can, and most evenings too. I have too many dear friends here, to leave entirely, even if I wanted to.

And I do still go to bed at 9 every night! Bless you all and sleep well.

Sleep well...I'll keep my eye on Karen overnight :redcard: :fryingpan: :fryingpan:

Thanks for letting me know, and I understand completely you have other matters far more important to tend to.

You've made major contributions here, appreciated as others have already said. There will always be a place for you.
