Oh, can it tomorrow already? I work too much sometimes, LOL. Good morning Pat and others on the east coast. For those on the west coast, go back to bed. I found a great little Tshirt shop today (yesterday on the east coast). I purchased one that says, "Yes, I do spend too much time inside my head, but it's okay -- they know me here." Oh, this latest robot comes very close to thinking. That is scary but exilliarating. Not there yet, but getting close. Would you like to think about the machine operator in the middle of the night, when this "machine" says, "excuse me, but I don't think I am feeling well."? Oh, did I not mention that it can talk? The speech chip is very good and it could fool you. I will have to change this in future units because clients like to have their robots sound like robots -- not people. You got up first, so you get to make the coffee. |

Pat, are you one of those "seasonal people"? I'm just trying to figure things out. I have been going from the location in your signature. Brrrr. Where are you really? Or am I wrong yet again? My poor little brain is almost burt to the ground here, but I delivered ahead of time and thus got the performance bonus. If you are a numbers person, the bonus was $8,600. When you see me go quiet for awhile, think about this. I am working every day. Just because I am full-timing, doesn't mean that I am not working full time. |

Good morning to all. Pat, enjoy your day in Florida, just think about that new Sunroom you built before you left, thats gonna be a nice place just to hang out......isn't that what they call a "Florida Room" ?. Doc, what does Orson think of these Robots ?, can't imagine what goes thru his head when these things starts talking. Looks to be a nice day today, going into the 60's, the problem is it hits the warm temps when I'm at work, I get to view it from inside .

*Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming- "Wow!, What a ride!" *A good friend will bail you out of Jail...A true friend will be sitting next to you saying "Boy, was that fun!" | |

Good morning to you all! I have been up since five, so I guess I am ready for DST to start Sunday...Another beautiful day here in Connecticut, but dry as a stick; it was the driest March on record. The newspapers are warning about fire danger. But we are supposed to have rain tomorrow. If it skips us, that would be a cruel April Fool.. Doc, you have a fascinating job. Do you ever actually see your working models in action? That must be very interesting in itself. When I was driving for Howmet Corp., I was sent a few times with parts to a robot factory outside Cleveland. Because I am a female, I have seen much more than most male truckers, since usually there is no ladies' room at the loading dock, and I must be directed to the other end of the plant, to the office area. That route at this particular huge plant took me through a vast room, shining clean and filled with roped-off areas, each containing a big robot being put through its paces. It was eerie and thrilling to see these silent monsters moving giant arms, putting invisible cars together. Pat, have a safe and happy trip home! Ken, can you show us a picture of your waffle breakfast? |

'morning Folks! Today will be a continuation of yesterday. The fire in the woodstove is almost out, so that can be vacuumed by this afternoon, and the piant touched-up either tonight or tomorrow morning. I never did get started raking yesterday. Called the lawyer's office yesterday morning and found out he had passed away. They sent the notice and the paperwork that was supposed to be returned to me upon his death to my old address. Naturally it got returned to the office, and some overworked secretery just left in my file....ohwell, guess *I* can't drop dead until I find a new lawyer... Fortunately I ate breakfast before I came back to post, but I'm thinking about waffles anyway. Just read something: "North vs. South" (Sorry, the second one is off-topic) Never even heard of a waffle house before, so a pic of breakfast is a good idea. I should prolly turn the computer off, so I'm not tempted to reply to email all morning, but I know I won't do that. So I will take the dogs out and get to work. There was also talk about fire danger around here. But I need to burn debris. That's something I don't walk away from, even for email. Yawl have a good day, John |

I ate at way too many Waffle Houses when I was driving. Everything tastes the same, no real butter, fake cream for the coffee..
YUCKY! But fast, and plenty of truck parking, so there it was. Now homemade waffles are somthing else entirely! Steaming hot, brown and crisp, moist and eggy on the inside, with real butter and dark (Grade B) maple syrup....now that is not to be sneered at. When I was little, we had waffles for Sunday supper a lot. One the last one only, we were allowed a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, and sometimes a sprinkle of walnuts... |

Rick, Orson gets to "meet" some of my creations, as do I. It can be very "interesting". They all know me and Orson, by design. You can imagine his confusion when this voice says, "hello Orson. Sit please". Orson is allowed into any site where I have a 'bot. It is in my contract. Why do you think I travel as much as I do? We go see these creations in action. Sometimes this is not good. Then we spend a few days in the parking lot tweaking the design. Oh, did I mention that all expenses traveling to these sites are valid business expenses? Now which site do we want to visit next? Orson did have a strong reaction to the twelve armed industrial robot, even though it had a soothhing female voice and recognized him. Whah who whah rah rah. Nope, he did not like this one. waffle houre? I would love one of those right now. they don't have them here. Chunked chopped, dunked amd toasted please |

Doc, Someday I would love to see one of your robots in action, Orson too. I invited friends for dinner Sunday, this is the couple who live a good forty minutes from here. We've been to their house several times the last few months and I haven't reciprocated. NOw that I'm feeling better it's time for me to entertain themEveryone sounds very busy today I want to get out early, maybe go for a walk in the park. Happy Friday to all. ![]() |

I bought strip steaks at Sam's so we'll have that with a baked potato, vegetable and I'm going to make my famous Caesar salad. Got the recipe from a great restaurant in Huntington, New York. Yes, I'm using a raw egg............ I think I'l make a cake also. Got freaked out a little while ago. Went to turn on my vacuum cleaner, didnot work. How am I going to suck up those little froggies that get in the house?

Chrissy, have you ever been in a Toyota, a Lexus, or a Ford? then you have experienced my handiwork. Have you ever flown on a plane made by Boeing? These are but a few examples. Mostly, my work is hidden, since it makes the machines that makes the things you see. But for the Toyota and Lexus stuff, my little guys did some significant things. The most amazing creations will never see the light of day. I cannot even tell you who the clients are. These are in the catagory of, "You want me to create a machine to do what?" I'm busting a gut trying to hold this in, but I have to. Think about Orson off-leash in a dangerous factory. How much do I trust his off-leash heel training? Would I risk my best friend? He is like glue to my leg. Do you want to be proud? So, we go into a meeting with the plant manager. I sit in a chair and Orson sits next to me. No commands or anything, he just does it. A cute little thing that I taught is that when someone sticks a paw out to shake with me, Orson sticks a paw out too. Hee hee hee. wanna cause a client to "pause" for a moment? (pun intended). Interestingly, it seems to be only the American clients that freeze at this. My Japanese clients happily shake Orson's "hand". |

Heather, there comes a time when chopped, slopped, covered and smothered sounds really good. Yes, I prefer "good food", but sometimes..... |
