Karen,
We need to get our priorities straight here! Someone said sleet to me today. They didn't last long. Just try sn** and see how far you get. LOL.
I don't want to go home to yuck, and mud, and we probably will. But, such is life. I can't complain - it has been the winter of winters down here. We count our blessings!

Good evening, Welcome back Heather.....where is all the mild weather you were suppose to bring with you....still a bit chilly outside :fryingpan: . Had another lazy day today....just put up a little Oak trim and went for a road trip.....looking at houses :faint: :faint: ......found what I consider as close to a perfect house as I've seen in a while.....small Log Home (1600 sq.ft.) on 16 Acres of woods  .....only problem, our accountant sez that we'd get killed in Taxes if we sell before 2 years.....unless we borrow on our equity and turn our Townhouse into a rental....no way baby.

I'm hoping the next home won't be such a project.....I don't mind a little here and there....keeps me out of trouble. This Log Home needed very little....and all the wooded property gave a helluva lot of privacy, unfortunately it's also not subdividable, was thinking we could sell off a part of the rear of the property (possible acess from another road) to offset cost. So, it looks like we're here for the duration.

Rick,
You know both Don and I love you dearly - and will bring you Coors in May since Jackie and Chrissy aren't coming - but you are doing this backwards!!! :fryingpan: :fryingpan: :fryingpan:
We need to talk :)

Edit - did not see your second post - but we still need to talk :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Edit again - off topic - if there was one! It is really cold. I may sleep in my earmuffs (yes, they came with.) Do you people down here realize we snowbirds are paying good money for warmth??? :fryingpan: :fryingpan:
It's been so nice - this has got to be weird for you real Florida folk. 39 in the morning? Record breaking? Dear me. Very bizarre. :spin:
