'morning Folks!

It's after 8 and nobody made coffee! :nono:
And they are not all still asleep, either...

More clouds today, but not too cold, and not much new snow overnight. Today I will move the firewood--the first load for next year is coming at the end of the wek and I must be ready. :bolt:

Ok, I'm moving.....yup, half way to the kitchen.....

Yawl have a good day. I will not be back until I get *something* done.

Sorry, John...I've got coffee but I've been wrapping my frozen little hands around the cup to stay warm. Brrrrr down here in FL. The sun is out, but it's still only 47 outside per our atomic clock, which is pretty accurate.

The sun will do its job by noon, I'm sure. It had better - I don't want my tan to fade before I leave :floorrollin: :floorrollin: I need more pool time in the next six days.

Nothing exciting on tap today - basketball and golf on TV, both of which will get our attention.

Have a day :)

I did all the indoor stuff, but "it's not good to stay away from the computer long at a time...". But it's only 11 AM, too early for lunch...what to do with the hour...... I could load a few more tunes into Winamp... that doesn't count as working too hard... I could make a walnut pie...oops, can't do that, the dough is still frozen, that will have to be tomorrow after appointments. 11:09, thiis is working out Ok, it'll be lunch time before I know it...too bad I ate breakfast late.... Damn, I think there was something I was *supposed* to do today... maybe it'll come back to me if I take a quick nap... Yup, sounds like a plan to me.... Thanx Patti, L8er,

JM

Good morning, I'm late again. I woke up early, watched a move and back to bed. :) Now I'm up to greet this beautiful sunny day.

Diet coke this early Patti? Well, maybe you're having it with lunch. :faint:

I need to get accomplished today, just don't know what I want to do.

Have a nice day. :)

I have a teeny weeny wifi signal, so I'll take advantage of it. Had a busy morning...packed all my little goods from shelf behind our couch - picutres, 2 little Willow Tree angels, etc...so that's clear. Sorted and bagged all my Easter bunnies for the kids, took off the cloth from the picnic table, emptied bins to get ready to pack the patio, and stuff like that. I don't like to be rushed when we leave, so I do it little by little.
Still chilly but the wind has died down. I can go to the pool when the air is about 68 - the water is warm, so I'll just prune to death :faint:

Good afternoon everyone!

Just hanging out watching the NASCAR race. It is in Bristol, TN, where it snowed this morning. I bet NASCAR never had to consider snow tires before! :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

Gonna pass on the pool today since I got a tad toasty yesterday. But not THAT bad. Going to a casino for the barffet, as our neighbors call it. :floorrollin: I guess while we are there, we may find a little time to actually gamble.

Greg, Dylan & Jasper too!

Have fun Jackie and Greg..............Barfett? I like that.
I'm surprised Frank isn't watching the races, he usually does. He's in the garage building a piece of furniture for our daughter.

There's also a hummingbird in there, can't get out.

I would like some peach ice cream, please ;) Our RV freezer does not do ice cream well - the 1/2 gallon kind, and the cheapskate in me cannot justify buying a pint at a time...so we wait until we get home.

We had three babies christened today and talked to them all (well, not the babies.) When you get nine million grandchildren in a year - we had four christenings in a month. Missed them all - although the Maryland mommies did a joint one with Allison, Joey and Connor getting the water together. Everyone was being wonderful, per girls. More importantly, our girls got a picture of eight kids together and they are very proud of themselves - as well they should be. That is not an easy feat.

Hello, everyone; I am back home and dealing with it all, again... :P:

I took my leave of the Martin's beautiful site by the banks of the Withlacoochee River and got as far as exit 68 in SC, where I camped again in Colleton State park. (I stayed there on the way down and was taken by the quiet, pretty sites and the very clean and WARM bathrooms with good showers.) Got there after dark, so just had a hasty supper and tumbled into bed; showered in the morning and was on the road by 8. Last night I made it up to the VA/MD state line by 8 pm; it was hailing and pouring rain and I gave it up and went to bed in the rest area (very quiet!). Woke this morning to find everything covered with ice, but the roads were ok; made it up thru NYC in record time and home here by 12:30.

I apologise for not doing more on the computer while I was gone, but I was pretty busy watching birds...fishing..drinking wine...cooking.....you know, all that important stuff... ;) Thanks to Chrissy and to Dave for letting me use the 'puters as much as I wanted!

Heather,
Glad you are home safely (and it was wonderful to see you!) but you need to negotiate a better contract. Rick and I will help you. Florida and back in ten days is not a good thing.
BTW, please stop saying hailing, pouring and rain. Those are bad words :)

:) It's not here, Pat. Nice here!

Next year I think I am back to the January thing, when I have more time available (hopefully). All up to my sister...you are welcome to try (good luck with that! :floorrollin: )

Driving 9 or 10 hours a day is a piece of cake...
