Hi, guys!

Have a magic wifi signal so I'm early. Listening to yet another different birdcall - there are so many. But why don't I see many birds?? I hear them but don't see them.

Another gorgeous day. We are getting spoiled. It was 86. Cold front coming and it will be 76 tomorrow. I like their cold fronts ;)

Our little third of this cg is so excited. We got a new pool pump. Clerbrook has Lifestyles (600 sites, mostly park models,) Verandah (over 400 sites, many park models, and no shade but the nicest clubhouse and pool,) and Crossroads - where we are (roughly 200 sites, wonderful live oaks, and the worst pool furniture.) We also have the friendliest people - some say it's because we are all gypsies. It's all RVs in here. Well, our pump died on Sunday and the locked the pool! Said it could take three days :( Replaced this morning - we are gleeful over here. That is my scoop of the day :floorrollin:

...and I hope you had a day ;)

Pat, I am so happy for you, that you don't have to do without a pool. You poor deprived thing! :fryingpan:

You won't see the birds if they don't want to be seen, and if you are moving about. Try sitting quietly outdoors with binoculars and watch. You have to see them, eventually.

Thanks, Chrissy; that is a clickable image, BTW.

Me, eat?

Well, first we shared a bowl of homemade wild mushroom and barley soup, then Suzy had a hangar steak panini; I had the curried crab salad. I cannot get over the amount of beautiful, fresh crabmeat in that salad! Then for dessert, S had creme brulee and I had the beautiful mille feuille in lavendar-flavored cream.

It was really hard to make dinner tonight. I had to fight the urge to tell Mom and Ames to get it themselves... :floorrollin:
(Neither wanted to come with us for lunch).

Doc, your boss may be an SOB, but I hear he is a really good cook....

Heather,

Pools are big down here!! Now the complaints will resume about the water temps. Going swimming in bathtub temp water is not my idea of fun or refreshing.
It's kind of funny - a sociologist or psychologist could probably do an interesting study of pool culture - in snowbird campgrounds. We have a nice group of people at ours. One couple leaves tomorrow and she started to cry when they left the pool after goodbyes. This is a very friendly place - which is why we keep coming back.

I will try to see birds! Thanks for the tip. I need to look into birdcalls so at least I will know what I'm not seeing.

Here she goes again describing her fancy desserts. :) :) :)

Pat, so nice to see you on early this evening. By the way I love warm pool water.

Francis went to the doctors today, they put him on an antibiotic for 10 days.
Hopefully, this will be the trick or a cystoscopy will be scheduled.
I'm wiped out from worrying, had a difficult day today. I'm better, he's better, we're all better. :)
Chrissy

No, they are just changing parks - going over to the ocean near Daytona. They have another month down here.

Pat talks about the pool and here I am telling you Nicole is going cross country skiing tomorrow at the Canmore Nordic Centre . She is excited as this is the trails that the 1988 Winter Olympics were at at they train there.

Going to be a fun day for her.
