'morning Folks' The rough weather from the mid-west is moving east. From 55F at 6 am, to below freezing by tonight...NY weather! Wind-driven rain an a metal roof makes for some interesting sounds, and the whistle as it blows accross the chimney adds to the esxperience. I am here alone again this morning, although the early risers should be just about getting up by now. Good day to sleep. Coffee would be ready by now, but most of it leaked out. I think I'll give up on rummage sales. I can't figure out what could possibly be wrong with this thing...there aren't that many parts, and everything seems to fit together as it should. Oh well, this is a good excuse to try again. Yawl have a good day, John |

Good Morning, got up at 6am to walk the boys, was greeted by Terri when I got back in, holding a cup of coffee in her hand telling me to get to work .....too darn early, she's gotta remember we are attached to our nieghbors (Townhouse) can't start swinging a Hammer too early, so she sent me in the basement to build a Metal Shelving Unit, by time I'm done, I could start hammerin'. Shhhhh!...took a little break to visit you folks

My morning is great so far. Burnie, my feline companion is rolled tightly into an Armadillo-Like ball on the bed, snoring as he sleeps off breakfast. In a little while I'll take him out with me so he can sniff, eat grass, and snooze in the sun. It was a big event when I washed my hands last night in the bathroom sink proving my black water system holds water! A while back I tore off all my waste water outlet plumbing by snagging it on a curb. I've finally got it to the point where it works (I haven't tried the kitchen sink/grey tank yet but am pretty confident it'll be ok too.) I feel a little more civilized now. Next I must attack the diry dishes that have been waiting patiently for washing! I'm expecting a visitor soon and must be in ship-shape! Have a good day & be careful out there, Dave |

LOL! Don't think you have to spruce up for the likes of me, Dave! But I am certainly eager for the chance to see your camper, and looking forward to meeting you, your brother and your lovely sister-in-law!
I saw the pictures you posted in the kitchen storage thread on ORF. Maybe you could post them here? Some of us here don't go "there" anymore. You really have some clever and unique ideas. |

As Farmboy said to the Princess Bride; "as you wish"... ====== The following is quoted from RV.net forums========= One of my cupboards is too deep to see what's in the back so I mounted 4 long, skinny trays on extension drawer slides and installed them in the cabinet. ![]() Individual trays can be pulled out so I can see what's in the back. Correlle dinnerware stores nicely for travel in a wire dish-drying rack. Here are four place settings of five dishes. ![]() Another trick I'm happy with is this tape holder I made out of a single coat hanger wire; it is on the inside of a cupboard door and really helps avoid cluttering up drawers with rolls of tape: ![]() Dave |

Good Morning...........some of you members do wake up very early, what time do you go to bed? Karen, have a good day, no flip flops to work these days. Nice cupboards Dave, let's see, sea salt, Chees its(sp), seasonings, is that pasta in the zip lock bag, maybe Worchestshire sauce, Wow, quite a variety of "stuff". Heather, you're too much about the "leaking".....Shame on you.
Rick, still waiting for pictures.........(in your spare time).......Don't forget to post them in Home and Garden , you can do all your remodeling there.
JohnM, someone has to get up and make the coffee.

Chrissy, can I consider that "moderation"?
Nice coffee graphic! Dave:
LOL! I love that movie! Such nice work. I love to look into other people's kitchen cabinets.. I have no aptitude with tools and they know it and take it out on me when I try to use them... |

Good looking handy work Dave. We do have slide out pantry drawers and I know it makes a grand difference. We have a chocked full junk drawer in MH so like your idea for tape too. Raining here today but warm Truck coming today to pick up first load of pine logs. Ed really wanted all this pine to be recycled wherever possible. Woodsmen found a lumber company interested in pick up for recycle Pieces not worthy can be chipped here.Good day all, Kate |

....gotta get Film developed, Terri won't let me buy a Digital ....Yes, when I go to my "paying job"....it's a lot less stressful and I don't have to be so picky on how it gets done. Getting ready to go in now. Had a rough day today, after putting the shelving unit together I went right into laying the Hardwood Flooring.....got one of those invisible splinters that is there, you just can't see it....rub the area, and YEEOOWW!....not to mention, hit my thumb with the hammer, got a nice Blood Blister....then I went and hit it again , boy did that hurt.....got one big Purple Thumb

Good morning all. It is another beautiful day with deep blue sky and warm sun. It is only 58°F/15°C here with zero chance of precipitation. Sorry, but it is my turn to have good weather... I have two loaves of bread in the oven. One loaf is cinnamon and the other is jalapeno cheese bread. At 20% humidity, it was perfect baking weather, so I just couldn't help myself. They will not be as pretty as the stuff Heather whips up <grin>, but they will taste good. My boss is a real SOB. I told him I wanted to come in late for work and he told me I had better get my butt in the chair and get the project done. This guy is a slave driver, I tell ya. I told him I want to take some vacation time, since I have almost 2,000 hours accumulated and he told me that first I get the project done and then we can talk about it. Grumble, grumble, grumble. I'm self-employed, of course... What an SOB my boss is! Work, work, work. I really am thinking about a vacation, believe it or not. I turned down two interesting projects and have nothing scheduled after the current one. Yallins have an interesting day. Oops, I forgot that this is a curse in Hindi. Sorry about that. |
