Well, sleepyheads...good morning, rise and shine!

It is getting light so early now, I am waking at five. Hard to get back to sleep, I finally gave up this morning and was dressed by 5:45. Sunday paper, coffee, no doughnuts. Glazed donuts used to be part of Sunday mornings for me, in my working days. I cannot do that anymore, not on a weekly basis. I still miss them.

I need to get out my summer clothing and start making selections for Florida. Hard to realize, with the morning temps here still in the teens, but it looks as if it'll be downright hot by then! Oh, and I am as pale as milk; I'm going to burn to a crisp!

I'll be back later....going to try on clothes.  :faint:

Just think Heather, by time you get back, the temps should be a lot warmer :) . Good Morning folks, sunny but chilly here this morning, already hung a Towel Rack in the Master Bath, gonna tear up some carpeting and get ready for some Hardwood Flooring to be laid down.....we were looking at the thin, snap together stuff, but went with real 3/4 inch prefinished Red Oak by Bruce.....any tips from anyone who has attempted this ?, I have confidence that I can get it done, just trying to avoid dumb mistakes

...Heather, back in the days before everyone thought I had a Heart Attack, I used to get my Sunday Paper, 2 Glazed, 2 Jelly, and 2 Chocolate Frosted Doughnuts along with a Large Coffee and have it all done before Terri woke up......yup, them were the days :coffee:

I wish you lived near us. There are a few things you could do here, once you are done with your place....

'morning folks....

No donuts here...just fluffy scrambled egges, with sausage, onion, cheese, and muchrooms. And Coffee, of course. Beef Strogenoff will be on the menu this afternoon if I don't spend too much time correcting typos and generally goofing off all morning.

The sun was shining into the large kitchen window by the time I came down the hall this morning at 7:22. It doesn't rise over the hill until well after 8 in the dead of winter. I don't like getting up when it's light out, but I guess there's nothing I can do about that. It gets light just toooo early in the summer.

No big plans today, but I would like to find something to do outside....it looks just too nice out there to let it get away....

Yawl have a good day,

John

My wife and I are supposed to got look at three houses this afternoon. Just waiting for our agent to call and let us know when.

Nice start to the day here; 66 degrees outside at sunup. Forecast calls for partly cloudy and high 70s. It is spring in Texas.

Good morning all! Very chilly start to the day - 40 outside. Due to hit 75 once the sun does its job. It's up, obviously, but it still hasn't warmed the air too much.
Already flipped our mattress, which is a feat in this rig, so it's clean sheets, etc...and then the bike and the pool.

Best get at the chores. Have a day :)

Good morning, yes it is rather chilly at the moment. I think it went into the high thirties early this a.m..
Most likely I'll go to the park with my daughter again sometime this morning, take Remington.....Two little boys playing soccer ran over to pet him along with several others. Not everyone is familiar with Airedales and Remington looks like a bear lately with his hair long. :) They get quite a kick out of him and he loves children.

Noticed a racoon in the yard last night, when I woke up this morning I noticed the small birdfeeder is bent over. I want to post a photo of the birdhouse in the backyard today. The bluebirds were flying in and out of it.

Have a nice Sunday.

Good Lord, what a depressing morning. :banghead:

I hauled out all my summer clothing and NOTHING looks good. I haven't gained weight since I lost the 25 lbs two years ago, but I sure have changed shape!! Everything is headed South!

Oh well; at least I don't have to buy a lot of new clothing....

Did you get a picture of the bluebirds, Chrissy? I hope you can get rid of the raccoons; they eat bird eggs and baby birds if they can reach them. :biting:

I don't know if I'll be able to get a picture of the birds, they are pretty fast and fly directly into the bird house which is about 10 feet high off the ground. Birds Unlimited has a birdhouse for bluebirds on sale for $60.00, outrageous.
You can purchase "See Rock City" birdhouses at Cracker Barrel for approx. $25.00.

Heather, my wardrobe consists of jeans, summer, winter, fall. :)

Well it is -4°C. Not too bad as the sun is out.

It has been an off day for me. I woke up to another nasty headache. :biting:

Then I started to read about all your sweets you eat and sorry if I missed some things but I had to scan over them. Just the thought ... :faint:

I will try and check in later..I think a nap in a dark space is on its way.

Karen,
Hope you get some relief - you do get headaches :(

Just back from a long time at the pool - which is downright cold although the sun is downright hot. Of course, about 10 of us did go in - from Vermont and New York - well, mainly NY. Small world - two couples who just got here are from right down the Thruway and one couple's son lives in our town!! It's funny to hear people use the same directions we do - 81 to 481 to 31 to 11. All nice folks. This is a very friendly cg.

Chrissy - jeans in the summer? I don't know how you do it down here. Heather, unless this weather pattern changes drastically in the next two weeks, I think you need to bring mainly shorts, sunscreen and bathing suits.

Ummmm...Karen,,, you aren't....I mean, you would tell us if....well, I know you aren't feeling so well in the mornings.....Ummmm...

Nahhh... :floorrollin:

Seriously, girl, I hope you get to the bottom of this, really soon!

Chrissy, shorts? :faint: do you want the apparel police out after me? I don't even wear shorts in my own back yard, in the garden! My legs are no longer an object for human viewing. Can we say flab? Can we say veins?

Nuff sed.

Heather,
Don't blame Chrissy for the shorts - that was my idea! I have veins - I don't care. Long pants in 80 degree weather doesn't do it for me. I like to live in my bathing suit when possible, and trust me - that is not a pretty sight. I don't care. I will admit to not wearing sleeveless tops - my upper arms would scare away small children :floorrollin: :floorrollin:
