But they are sooooooooooo yummy Chrissy! Plus I gotta justify the expense and weight of the added blender. Oh, and this batch is especially rummy!

Yeah, me too! I was panting soo hard I almost passed out... As for marinate: Noo.... All I said was, "I usually just put a mix of Soy and Worstershire sauce *on* them before cooking." Guess I should have mentioned that I score them first. They would be half *cooked* before they hit the grill if they were marinated in soy..... |

Evening, all! Steak, pruning, shovleing, underwear, drinking - you've all had a busy day. We are making plans for our trip home - leave Florida 4/1 and time goes by very quickly. March is rapidly filling up with things to do. Meeting Chrissy and Frank for dinner Tuesday
Made one reservation - Camp Kate and Ed This will be exciting and they are nice to have us. Headed north via Amelia Island, Fernandino Beach; Savannah; Columbia, SC; Asheville, NC; Kate and Ed's; Maryland with kids; NJ with more kids; home 4/17 to more kids |

Yes, It sounds like everyone is keeping busy....and it looks like my weekend off is only gonna be one day.....bought some Oak for the ledge of the loft where it overlooks the Living Room and for the cut out in the wall between the Dining Room and Living Room....new Oak Railings for the Stairway and whole lotta Prefinish Bruce Hardwood Flooring....gonna be back to work tomorrow. Also met the old nieghbors for lunch today....they sure do miss us in the nieghborhood. During Snowstorms, I'd Snowblow a path to each others house and we'd bounce around visiting during the storms....I miss them too

Pat, I really wish I had a choice, but we bought the place cheap, and we're now paying with sweat....a lot cheaper than cash. We were originally planning to turn it over when it's finished, but now am thinking Homebase for retirement and travel to the South like you & Don are doing....you guys really seem to have a good plan. |
