Wow, Rick; a whole weekend off!

Is Terry still dragging her feet on the Rally issue?

Blue sky, bright and sunny here; I just shovelled the walks but haven't gotten to the cars yet. Maybe I won't. Mom has an appointment this morning but I doubt we'll go; we aren't plowed out yet either. The driveway next door is plowed, and the same guy is supposed to do ours; I think what happened is, a friend plowed us out in the big storm 2 weeks ago, without asking us and as an act of kindness, not knowing we have a verbal contract with this guy Jim Dykas to plow all for storms over 3". We never got a bill for the last one; I think when Jim saw the clean driveway, he crossed us off his list. I called and explained the situation to his wife, so we'll soon find out.

The wind just came up all of a sudden and it looked like a blizzard; all the snow came off the trees!

Good morning.......
Apparently my son needs more tests, we're all worried. May not be myself for awhile.

Rick, enjoy your weekend, you deserve a break.
Heather, maybe you can post a picture of all the snow. How are the chicks?

Chrissy, you see one snowstorm, you've seen them all. :P:

Sorry about Francis; it may not be anything serious. We all hope not.

I shovelled the chickens out this morning and as soon as I was away from the ramp they came trooping down. The ground was dry and hard-frozen when the snow started, so it was easy to shovel and left the ground bare and comfortable for them to stand on. Maybe I'll go out later and take a picture of them.

Did somebody say snow? It came down hard and fast and went away. No sun here, but wind, but it's March, and snow doesn't stay around long.

Plans changed suddenly, which is fine...I need to spend some time upright anyway. Gotta :bolt:

Yawl have a good one...

John

BTW, the pic was taken at 3 pm yesterday. Some people need to know what they are missing.

Good morning!!!!

JM, I know FULL well what I am missing!!!! :floorrollin: And I don't miss it all that much.

Chrissy, for you all!!!!

Enjoy your weekend off, Rick.  have some Coors Light handy???????

The guy that will be installing our 2nd AC may be doing it today. I imagine that it will make a BIG mess in the bedroom area since they will be cutting the roof and all. :faint: :banghead: But it's gotta be done if we are staying here.

Have a great day all!!!!

Morning,

Another lovely day in our neighborhood. Cooler, 57 high today but sunny.

Chrissy sorry to hear about on-going health issue with Francis. Pray and think positive. I will.

Jackie, getting 2nd AC unit should be big improvement and not so much pull on the one ...would think. I do think generator good idea when you guys can see your way clear to make expenditure. Another weight and space issue.

BB Rick enjoy the weekend off :)

I'm loafing today,

Kate

....It's not so much dragging her feet, we're having a problem finding someone to watch the boys.....I won't take them due to all the action taking place.....but I did talk my brother and his wife into going, they leave for Bike Week in Florida from the Rally.

Before we started bringing ours with us we had a pet sitter. Sometimes she stayed at our house and sometimes she came and went. Then she got married :faint: and we got someone else that had a small pet sitting business and came and went. Both excellent, pets loved them. Point I am slowly making is often your vet will either have tech's that pet sit on the side or know someone.

Luck ;)

Well, got the AC installed. It took about an hour. Thank goodness we ordered the 5er prepped for the 2nd AC. Had it running to be sure it worked, and it works real well.

Just got back from the pool. Very funny watching grown men acting like kids with water guns and pool toys. :floorrollin: :floorrollin: I'll only add that one poor guys shorts fell off. :faint: :faint:

I think we will head to happy hour at 5, that is always a fun time. Lots of rigs pulling out the last couple of days. Place will be near empty in a few short weeks I bet.

Rick, I agree with Kate. If you don't want to do the kennel option, than a pet sitter is the way to go. :tiphat:
