Well, sleepyheads....where is everyone? I have a few minutes before I have to go downstairs and start making a blueberry pie for our birthday dinner tonight (niece).

It is a bright and shiny day; only 18* this morning. Still winter for sure, though we got lucky with the snow yesterday.

Have a very good day, everyone. :)

Been awake for awhile. I was waiting for you to *start the day*, since you were here first!

It's sunny here too, and cold. But the sun is warm enough to melt the flurries the day after they fall. There are poeple who think that lake-effect snow doesn't blow this far down-state, but they are not correct. I must admit, tho, that I was surprised by it when we moved here.

The only plan for today sofar is to walk away from the computer and get a few things done. Today is the day!

Enjoy what's left of the weekend,

JM

Good morning. Uh oh. There is a cloud in the sky.

Okay, all you folks that were driving out here for blueberry pie can turn around and head toward Heather's place. I'm sure that her pie will be great.

Orson brought the lizard back. He really wants to adopt him. Nope. This is one ugly lizard. We discussed it. He put on his best sorrowful face, and I put on my stern one. This is just not going to happen.

The sun just came up, but it is already warmer than it was a few days ago in Oregon. I don't like this cloud, however.

I'm still listening to this music DVD I made. This little modification I made to display on the nav system touch screen is a thing of beauty. I could drive to Heather's casa without changing CDs. I shall have to make more.

Good morning! We moved around the corner in a flash ;) Left the door open and the antenna up. Hand carried the sewer hose, carpet, chairs, etc...This is the site I wanted to begin with. Miserable day, however. The sun is due to come out but not too much warmth. Pie would be good.
Going out about three. I have a wifi signal
Have a day :)

Good morning all!

Pat, glad you got "your" site AND wifi!  Heather, have a great dinner tonight!! Karen, love those wagging tails!

It is warming up quickly here. It was 60 when I got up, and already 67 a mere 30 minutes later. BUT WHERE IS THE SUNSHINE???????????????????? Quite cloudy at the moment. Hopefully it will burn off.

Have a coffee cake in the oven. Smells yummy, can't wait to eat tho. :faint: :faint:

Have a great day all!!

Yes, I'm excited to be on this site. It's a big corner lot with shade on the patio in the afternoon - and a tree. Nice live oak. View of the first green, second tee, water and woods.

The girl who left liked it for the spy quality - which I also like! Won't be missing a trick. Husbands laughed. They will be back in a week and are going across the street. This is a very nice group of people clustered around us.

Okay. I guess the presidential election campain is now underway. A few days ago, when I was driving downhill from Hallelujah Junction to Reno, a car passed me. On the back was a bumper sticker. I had to laugh. I hope you do too. "It always takes a Clinton to clean up after a Bush -- Hillary 2008"

Awwww....Orson wants a little friend to play with. How about a nice little puppy? A standard poodle would be a nice friend and they don't shed.... ;)

What kind of lizard is it?

Yes, I have the pie made, but you will have to fight my niece for it and she's a muscular little lady! Don't say I didn't warn you...

Patti, I think if you're going to use chocolate chips, they might as well be big pieces. I never did like the tiny ones at all.

We'll be eating earlier than I thought (5) so I'll be back on tonight...everyone try to behave while I'm gone! :fryingpan:

Heather, you would not like this lizard. I am very serious about this. This guy is seriously ugly. I mean that in a very gentle way. I mean this lizard is very very ugly!!!!
