It's different enough to seem like a new game, but I spent all my, "WOWZORZ TIEMZ!!!" on Diamond, back during a summer vacation, before I had college-prep to deal with. |

Platinum got some graphic updates and a couple plot changes near the end, I know (though I'm not that far yet). I got it a couple weekends ago, but I haven't had the chance to play it much. Stupid school. >.< But yeah. It's purty. =3 |

You don't have to wait so zetta long to get your starter, either. :3 But you still have to grind a lot to stay ahead of the AI, which makes the game move SO ZETTA SLOW!!! |

Trading eggs from Diamond that have Pokemon you like rather than dealing Sinnoh's crapmon increases the game's zetta slowness. =P |

A Floatzel with Swift Swim can outdo Speed Form Deoxys. :3 Personally, though, I think Diamond was easier, because in Platinum I've had to stop and train a lot more. >_> Makes me long to play Silver again, so that way I only have to stop and train to beat the elite four. =/ |

Believe it. After you beat the E4, you can fight him on that extra island over an' over again and he gets stronger each time... Supposedly, the Bulbapedia says he's the strongest character in the maing game series. Thing about that is, I could've sworn Red (the one from G/S/C) had Pokémen between 80 and 97 or something... |

You actually have to stop and grind by the time you get to Hearthome City, which in Platinum is the third badge... I lose interest in turn-based RPGs and MMORPGs when you actually have to GRIND TO MOVE ON. Pokémon's too slow for grinding! DX |
