He was 10-years-old and was about to begin his journey. He was living in the Hybrid region, the region directly south of Sinnoh, living in Gemstone Town. His mother, Shereese Gordon, stomped up to his room and woke him up. "Jr honey, wake up." His mother whispered. Jrs eyes shot open. He looked at the digital Houndoom clock he had on the night stand. It read 6:30. "Maa! Its 6:30 in the morning! What are you doing waking me up now?" Jr whimpered "Well sweetie, I wanted you to be prepared for your journey." His mother replied. "Well, can't it wait 3 hours?" Jr said under his covers. "Terry Gordon Jr.! get out of this bed right this moment! You need to get ready! I told you not to stay up that late last night anyway! Watching those scary Lucario horror films..." "Ok ok Ma." Jr said. He hopped out of his bed and went to his bathroom. His mother went downstairs and got Jrs bag. Jr came downstairs fully dressed. He wore blue jeans, with a orange shirt and white shoes. He plopped in a chair in the kitchen, and poured some cereal and milk in a bowl. "Want to watch some television before you go honey?" Jr nodded his head yes because his mouth was filled with cereal. His mother turns on the T.V and turned it on a news station. "This is Tia Hawkins here reporting from Amendale town. All New trainers ought to get here now! Professor Seymour is giving starter Pokemon away!" Jr swallowed his cereal and stared at the T.V. The program continued. "Get here now before all the Pokemon are gone! This is Tia Hawkins reporting from Amendale." "Maa! We have to get to Amendale now!" Jr said. He grabbed his bag and ran to the door. His mother grabbed his book bag And stopped him. Jr gasped and fell on his back. “Wait. I have to get ready. Are you going to belive every little thing those reporters say? they won' t run out of pokemon." His mother said. Jr pouted and waited for his mom. When she got ready, they both got into the car, and departed to Amendale...

Not surprisingly, the building was ridiculously empty. Resembling a ghost town. When Jr and his mother walked into the building, sat a old man at a wooden carved table. "Why, hello there!" Professor Seymour cheerily said. "I see you have come for your pokemon." "Well, Ya!" Jr shouted."I love youur Enthusiasm! well, we dont have any starter pokemon, but we do-" "What?!? what do you mean You dont have any starter pokemon!?!?" Jr interupted. Jr's Mom sighed and sat in a nearby chair. "Let me finish young man. We do have some other pokemon for you." Professor Seymour sighed, then took out 3 Pokeballs. "One is a Shinx, one is a Aipom, and one is a Poochyena. which one will you choose?" "Umm. ill take the Shinx" Jr smiled and tok his pokemon. "Thank you! Bye Ma! Bye Professor Seymour." Jr took his pokeball and headed for the door. But then Professor Seymour stopped him. "Whoa, your pretty fast for an elderly man." Jr gasped "Oh quiet. Here take these." Professor Seymour Gave Jr a Pokedex and a TM for Thunderbolt. "What the heck is this?" Jr stammered. "Watch your mouth boy." Jr's Mom said. "Sorry Ma." "That Disk like thing is a TM for Thunderbolt. you can use it to teach that shinx of yours a new move. THat blue device is a pokedex. It tells you about ever pokemon you will meet on your Journey." "Awsome! So I just point it at the pokemon and it will tell me about it?" "Yes." "Ok then!" Jr pointed the pokedex at Shinx and the pokedex read in a computer-like manly voice: "Shinx. The Flash pokemon. All of its fur dazzles if danger is sensed. It flees while the foe is momentarily blinded" "Cool. Well, Shinx Im going to name you Xcvian!" Jr proudly stated. "Exa-wha?" Jrs mother said. "Xcivan... Its Cool!" "Right. Umm baby. Maybe you should just call him X." His mom whispered. "Fine Mom. Lets go X!" "Shinx!" He said proudly. "Bye Mom. Bye Professor Seymour. See you later!" "Bye sweetie" His Mom Said glassy eyed...

Chapter 3: Jr meets Julius Once Jr walked out of the labratory he took the TM out of his bag."Hmmm how do you work this thing? Any ideas X?" "Shinx Shinx!" X jumped up and grabbed the TM with his mouth. He threw it on the ground and pressed it with his nose. Suddenly X used thunderbolt on the sign that said "Pokemart" "Geez X You gotta control that! Well I guess we know what thunderbolt is now." A kid about Jrs age walked up to him"Yo! Trainer! Once our eyes meet, rules say we have to battle!" Said the kid "Wait what, i on-" "Go Jeff!" Said the kid cutting Jr off "What the heck is that ugly thing?" Jr pulled out his pokedex. It read: Bidoof. "The plump mouse pokemon. With nerves of steel, nothing can perturb it. It is more agile and active than it appears." "Oh Well X! use Thunderbolt" X used thunderbolt on the ugly mouse thing. It KO-ED it. "What in the world??? I just caught that!" The Kid whimpered. "YAY! X We won our first battle." X and Jr danced around. They turned areound and walked to the kid. "Hi my name is Jr. And this is my Shinx, X" Jr said "The names Julius. So wana travel with me to around Hybrid?" Julius insisted "The Gym leader is in the next city, Luxembourg!" "What ever. Lets Go X!" so Julius, Jr, Jeff, and X set off on their Journey around Hybrid "Hey Julius." Jr said. "Yeah?" "That Bidoof is ugly." Jr teased "Shutup!"

New Member Posts: 26 Group: Members Member #88 Joined: November 16, 2007	Chapter 4: Luxembourg City Jr and the crew were on their way to Luxembourg City, there were ambushed by a Ponyta, and a Eevee. "Wow. Thats one cute pokemon." Jr said. Jr looked around and notice Julius had left. He found him cowering behind an oak tree frightened by the wild pokemon. "You wuss! Come and battle this pokemon, we can have a double battle with it. And besides, you need some better pokemon than that mouse-thing you have." "Shutup. Jeff is perfectly fine!" Jr and Julius took out their pokedexes. Jr pointed to The Eevee, and it read: "A rare pokemon that adapts to harsh enviorments by taking on diffrent evolutionary forms." Julius pointed his Dex' at the Ponyta. It read: "About an hour after birth, its fiery mane and tail grow out, giving it an impressive apperance" Julius smiled "I call the horse!" Julius shouted. "Aww. i gotta get the Eevee. Alright then. X! Use Thunderbolt on Eevee! weaken, but dont kill!" Jr commanded. X shot a thunderbolt from the crown of its head at the Eevee. The Eevee was paralized. "Cool! Now go pokeball!" Jr launched a red and white pokeball at the paralized Eevee. The ball shook 3 times then it stopped. "Alright! We caught an Eevee X!" Jr danced with X. "Alright, go Jeff!" Julius threw out his pokeball and out came the fat mouse. Jr started laughing as soon as he came out of his pokeball. "Shut up Jr. Jeff! Use Tackle!" The Bidoof sprinted towards the ember horse. The Bidoof hit the Ponyta hard. The Ponyta moved back about a foot. The Ponyta used ember on Jeff. "Jeff! are you OK? use tackle again!" Jeff sprinted toward the horse again and struck it hard. "Goo pokeball!" Julius threw the pokeball at the Ponyta. The pokeball wiggled twice stopped for a little while and wiggled once more. He had caught Ponyta. "Alright! we are almost to Luxembourg. In fact, we are here right now." Jr said looking up. They walked into Luxembourg City, finding out it wasn't a huge city. It was a quiet little city. plenty of people to have a decent town. "Let's check into the pokemon center. It's getting late, im tired, and we need to heal our pokemon anyway." Jr said "Fine. I'm sleepy also." Julius said sheepishly. Jr and Julius walked into the pokemon center and saw that there was a black-haired woman sitting at a silver counter. "Hello. Welcome to the pokemon center. I am Nurse Tamara. How may I help you?" Nurse Tamara said. Jr stepped up. "Yeah, can we get a room for one night, and can you heal our pokemon?" Jr asked. "Why of course. Just put your pokemon on the counter right here. I'll give you 2 keys in a minute." She replied. Jr and Julius put their two pokemon on the counter. Nurse Tamara took the pokeballs put them on a shelf and came back with 2 cards. "Here you are. your rooms are 44 and 48. "Come back for your pokemon in the morning." Nurse Tamara said smiling. "Thank you." Julius said. They walked up a flight of wooden stairs going up to find rooms 44 and 48. They walked into their rooms without saying a word of goodbye to each other before they went to bed...

Jr said, looking at the sign on the building that said "Gym." X and Eevee nodded their heads in approval. Julius was slept in, saying he would come later to the Gym. When Jr walked in with his pokemon, thr Gym was beautiful. There was about 6 fountains paralell to each other while, a blue trail went between those fountains. Then there was A tiny river at the side of the path when the fountians ended. Then stood the Gym Leader, on a blue stage with 2 more fountains behind him. "Why hello there! I am Remington Cambell! as you can see I take a liking to water type pokemon!" The Gym leader said. He wore a white-buttoned shirt, black slacks, and a long blue overcoat. He had black hair and blue eyes. "Nice place you got here Remington. Care for a gym battle?" Jr asked. "Ready when you are! Go Squirtle!" Remington threw out a netball. Out came a turtle like creature. "Cool." Jr said. He took out his pokedex. It Read: "Squirtle: It shelters itself in its shell, then it strikes back with spouts of water at every oppotunity." "Alright. Go Eevee!" Eevee steped forward, getting into its battle stance "Squirtle! Use bubble!" Remington commanded. Squirtle shot a beam of bubbles at Eevee. It hit Eevee, knocking it to the ground. "Eevee! Get up! you can do it!" Hearing its trainers voice, he got up. "Great! use tackle!" Eevee used tackle on squirtle taking away plenty of its heatlh. "Com'on Squirtle! use bubble again!" Remington shouted. "Step to the left Eevee! Then use tackle to finish him off!" Eevee moved to the left, nimbly dodging the attack, then charging at the Squirtle, knocking it to the ground. as soon as that happened, Julius rushed into the gym, still in his night clothes. "Uhh Julius. Why arent you dressed?" Jr said turning around. "Oh im not dressed? Whoops!" Julius said blushing. "Well, I guess i will have to battle in these." "What ever" Jr said. "Um hello? we are still in a gym battle here!" Remington said returning Squirtle. "Oh sorry. Eevee! Come back! Go X!" Jr said, sending out X. "Goo Finneon!" Rimington said. "Another fish." Jr pulled out his pokedex. It read: "Finneon: After long exposure to sunlight, the patterns on its tail fins shine vividly when darkness arrives." "Ok. A water type. X! Use thunderbolt! Full power!" Jr shouted while pointing at the finneon. X shot a thunderbolt at the Finneon, paralyzing it, and fainting it. "Alright! Good job! We won the Gym battle Guys!" Jr celebrated. "Great battle. Apperantly, you have alot of skill, can control your pokemon, and your pokemon love you very much. You deserve to win this badge." Remington said. He took out a blue, wave like badge, and gave it to Jr. "Thank you Remington. Com'on Julius, you can have your battle tomorrow. Lets get back to the pokemon center." "Whatever. I cant battle in these anyway." Julius said. They headed for the pokemon center. Preparing for tomorrows adventure, and Juliuses Gym battle.

This time, it wasn't Jr on the battle field, it was Julius. Jr was on the side watching him. "Alright! Lets do this! Go Jeff!" Julius sent out Jeff. Jeff seemed stronger, being that he couldn't use Pontya that often. "Jeff! Use Tackle!" Jeff chagred at squirtle, knocking it down, but squirtle got up again. "Squitle use withdraw." Remington said. Squirtle hid in his shell, protecting himself from attacks. "Well we have something for that. Jeff! Use Growl!" Jeff made a rather intimidating growl. Squirtle got scared and came out of its shell. "Squirtle no get back in!" Squirtle didn't hear a word his trainer said. "Great. Use tackle and finish him off Jeff!" Jeff tackled the squirtle again making him faint. "Good Job Jeff! Return." Jeff returned. Remington also returned his squirtle. "Julius! What are you doing? You can't use Ponyta against that finneon." Jr said. "I got this Jr. Go Ponyta!" Julius sent out his Ember horse. "Ha, go Finneon. Use water gun." Remington said carelessly. "Ponyta, dodge then use stomp." Julius said. Ponyta doged and ran at the Finneon, then steping on it. "Geez. That was pretty fast" Remington said. "Well thats ok! Finneon use- Hunh?" Finneon had fainted already. "Wow I guess you beat me. Well, you deserve it. Take this badge. Julius had goten the wave badge. "Alright! Yeah! we got the badge." Julius threw out Jeff so he can join the party. But then Jeff started glowing. "Hunh?" Julius said. Jeff grew larger, and his teeth got larger. Jeff had evolved into Bibarel. "Awsome!" Jeff said. He took out his pokedex. It said: "Bibarel: The beaver pokemon-" "You got that right." Said Jr cutting it off. It continued: "It makes its nest by damming streams with bark and mud. It is known as an industrious worker." "Well, lets go." Jr and Julius walked to the pokemon center and got their stuff. "Alright. Well the next city on the map is Cosmosis City. We have to go through Luxembourg Forest first though." Said Julius. They walked to the Luxembourg City limits, then going into the forest. Soon while they were walking through the forest, a man wearing black pants with a thunderbolt on them, and a black shirt with a T and a thunderbolt. He was being chased by a girl. "Theif! Stop him please!" Shreiked the girl. He looked about 11. She had brown hair, wore a blue shirt, and a pink skirt. "Go X! Use Thunderbolt!" Jr said. He through out X's pokeball and he shot a thunderbolt a the man. He dropped a blue and white pokeball and ran off smoking through the forest. "Thank you so much." Said the girl. "Hi my name is Brandy Graham." Brandy said extending a hand. "I'm Jr and this is Julius." Jr said noding at Julius. "Who was that guy?" Jr questioned. "That, was Team Thunderbolt. They make it a living to steal peoples pokemon. This is Kirlia. I just caught her, then that creep tried to steal her." Said Brandy holding up Kirlia's pokeball. "Oh thats horrible. Wanna journey with us?" Said Julius. "Sure. Im heading to Cosmosis City also." Brandy Replied. "Well lets go then!" Jr said. Jr, Julius, and the newest edition, Brandy headed to Cosmosis City.

Jr, Julius, and the newest edition, Natalie headed to Cosmosis City ~~~\|\|\|\|\|~~~ Yes, I know a very short chapter, but Jr is in for a surprise in the morning...

His Umbreon had evloved overnight from friendship. "Cool!" Julius said. Jr took out his pokedex. It read: "The light of the moon changed Eevees genetic structure. It lurks in the darkness for pray." The man-like computer-ish voice said. Jr looked at his pokedex again. It said when an Umbreon was level 13 it learns the move Pursuit. "Well, lets go guys." They went down stairs only to see the man from the forest. "Give me the pokemon!" He said in a roober-like voice. He had a black sack. Nurse Tamara was cowering in fear under the counter picking up pokeballs and putting them in the sack. "Hey! Put those pokeballs down!" Brandy shreiked. "You Twerps. Since, I see you kiddies so often, I feel you should know my name." Said the dark figure. He lifted his head revealing a pale face with hair covering one eye. "My name is Karth." He said darkly. He took off running with the sack over his shoulders. "Umbreon! Use Pursuit!" Umbreon chased Karth with a dark shadow following behind Umbreon. He struck Karth, making him limp. But he still ran out the door. "Oh no! Please get the pokeballs back!" She shreiked. "No problem. We will be back." Jr, Natalie, and Julius ran out the city and to route 305. They walked through route 305. It had oak trees on the sides of each path. 20 or 30 miniutes into walking, They found Karth. "Karth! Give those pokemon back now!" Natalie said. Karth chuckled."Ha. What makes you think I would give these pretty little things back?" He held 2 Luxury balls in his hands, from the bag."Go Torchic! Go Snubull!" He threw out a Torchic and a Snubull. "Fine then. Lets battle. Go Umbreon!" Jr said. Natalie stepped up by Jr. "I will take this one Julius. Go Kirlia! Use Psychic on the Snubull!" Natalie said. Kirlia struck the Snubull with its psychic energy, knocking it back on the ground. The Snubull struggled to get up. "Right! Use Pursuit on Torchic!" Jr said. Karth smiled. "Torchic dodge. Use ember" Karth said emotionlessly. Torchic hopped up and shot fire at Umbreon, striking it. "Oh no! Are you alright?" Jr said. Umbreon struggled to get up. "Umbreon! Use sand attack then use pursuit!" Umbreon kicked at the ground. Dirt went up and struck Torchic in the face. Torchic wobbled around, with her hands over her eyes. When she wiped off the dirt, Umbreon was running towards her, striking it. Torchic flipped and landed on her head. "Dang..." Karth said. He returned Torchic. "Snubbull! Use bite on Kirlia!" Snubbull bit Kirlia, making her faint. "Come back Kirlia. You did great." Natalie said. "Go Chikorita! Use razor leaf on snubbull and finish it off!" Natalie said. Chikorita shot sharp leaves at snubull hitting it in the chest. "Alright! Karth we- Hey, where did he go?" Jr said. looking around. "We, he left the bag. Lets go guys." They headed back to Cosmosis City with the bag... TO BE CONTINUED...

TeH g00fy admin (I wonder why no one takes me seriously...) Posts: 749 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: December 14, 2006	I see some potential, but your lack of grammar covers it. I could see that you were trying for desciptions and the like, but because the writing was a bit awkward, it was difficult to take in the images of the locations and people. Also, it's extremely short. -_-; A few suggestions: The name "Junior" is always spelled out when writing, never abbreviated. Also, if your chapters are short, try combining them instead of posting a ton of short events. It makes your writing look organized. Finally, type your story on Word first so you can run spell check and what not. It's extremely useful. =3

"Alright, we got the Pokeball's from Karth Nurse!" Jr interjected. He was breathing hard after running back from route 305. “Thank you so much.” Nurse Tamara said. “Hey, you know there is a Pokemon Gym down the street right?” She continued. “Oh really? What kind of Gym is it?” Natalie asked. “It’s a normal Gym. Normal type Pokemon.” Nurse Tamara added. “Well, let’s go check it out!” Jr said. “See ya Nurse Tamara!” Nurse Tamara waved as they ran out of the door. They walked down the streets of Cosmosis for about a half an hour. Then the finally found the Gym. It was huge. Almost as big as a stadium. When they walked inside they were shocked. The Gym was totally empty. “What a waste of space…” Natalie said walking further into the Gym. All the walls were painted white. They walked in further and spotted a woman wearing a white jumpsuit. “Why hullo there!” The woman said in a cheerful voice. She had teal hair tied into a bun. “My name is Aika” She said. Jr stepped up. “I am Jr. You know what I’m here for. Go X!” Jr threw out Xcivans Pokeball. “Go Clefairy!” Aika said, throwing out a premier ball. “Quick! Quick attack!” Aika commanded her Clefairy. “Dodge it X!” Xcivan moved to the right, but Clefairy followed. She knocked him down, laying on his side wincing.. “Oh no! Are you alright?” Xcivan struggled to get up on his feet. Once he got up, his legs began to wobble. “Let’s go! Thunderbolt all out!” Xcivan shot a powerful blast of thunder at Clefairy. Get hit her in the chest. She fainted, her head falling to the side swirly-eyed. “Return X. You did great.” “Ah! I took you for granted. Now I’m going all out! Go Whismur!” A shaky-legged Pokemon emerged from her Pokeball. “Alright. Go Umbreon!” Jrs Umbreon emerged from the Great ball. “Umbreon, use Sand attack, then Pursuit!” Jr commanded.“Whismur dodge.” Aika said quietly. Whismur ran out of the way of the two attacks. “That was fast…” Jr moaned. “Now Whismur Astonish!” Whismur clapped in front of Umbreon then hit it with a ghostly aura, knocking Umbreon back several feet. “Comon! Use Pursuit” Umbreon just stood there, flinching. “Whismur! Finish it off with pound!” Whismur ran at Umbreon, kicking it with its legs. Umbreon fell back swirly-eyed. “We lost…” Jr said on his knees by Umbreon. “Return” He said in a sad voice. “Well, that was a good battle. I suggest you train more, maybe come back!” Aika said cheerfully. “Let’s go guys…” Jr said walking out of the Gym. “Awww its ok Jr. Just train harder and I’m sure you can beat Aika!” Natalie said cheerfully. The crew headed back into the Pokemon center. When they got into the Pokemon center they checked in with Nurse Tamara. "Why are you so glum" She asked. "He lost his Gym battle." Julius awnsered. "We are going to do some serious training later." He added. "Yup, we are going to need it too. We have to go against him ya know, tommorow." Natalie said. "Well, here are you keys, have a nice evening." Nurse Tamara said. They headed to their rooms, waiting to see whats in store for them tommorow. TO BE CONTINUED

New Member Posts: 26 Group: Members Member #88 Joined: November 16, 2007	Chapter 10: Makin’ a Comeback: Part 1 “I can’t believe she dragged us here!” Jr exclaimed, pouting in his seat. Natalie had brought Julius and Jr to the Pokemon Contest of Cosmosis City. “I mean , jeez. Like we could be training right now!” Jr said angrily. “Oh shutup! Enjoy Nat’s first Pokemon contest.” Julius replied angrily. Natalie was on the contest field, with her Chickorita, participating in the beauty part. Natalie wore a white gown with her black hair n a pony-tail. “Alright Leaf, use Synthesis. Then use Razor leaf to go around it!” Natalie commanded. A beam of sunlight came down from the sky on Leaf. Then Leaf shot leaves around the beam of sunshine, the leaves sparkling in the air. The audience ohh-ed and ahh-ed at the sight. The Judges, Aika of Cosmosis, Remington, of Luxembourg, and Myles Lutchman, the Mayor of the grand Cosmosis City, raised their score boards. None of the scores were lower than 9. Natalie passed on to the next round. Her and Leaf jumped and celebrated that they would be in the final round. Down on the levels where the dressing rooms were, Julius and Jr were down to congratulate her. “You did great!” Julius interjected. Jr was twiddling his thumbs, sitting down on a chair. “Yeah you did great.” Jr said emotionlessly. This is taking forever. I need to at least catch one new Pokemon to defeat Aika. Jr thought. “Thanks you guys. I’m pretty nervous now. The round is about to start.” Natalie said, with a big grin on her face. “The last round is about to start. You guys better get back to your seats!” Natalie said, ushering them towards the door. “Alright. Good luck!” Julius said leaving out the room. Jr followed behind Julius, going back up to their seats. Then the final round started. Natalie was going to face a girl named Sharmaine. “The final round is about to begin!” Myles Lutchman said. “Leaf! Spotlight!” Natalie threw out her Pokeball and Leaf made a cute entrance. “Spotlight Mudkip!” Sharmaine said. Mudkip made a cool entrance. “Mudkip use Mud slap.” It wasn’t very majestic, but it could do great damage. “Quick! Jump over the mud and use razor leaf!” Leaf took action. She jumped over the mud, rotating in a spiral. She began to shoot leaves at Mudkip, taking a direct hit. “Wow! What a beautiful combination! Agility, speed and accuracy! That’s really going to take a lot of points from Sharmaine and her Mudkip!” The mayor interjected. “Great job Leaf! Now, use poisonpowder and Synthesis to finish this off!” Leaf had poisonpowder and synthesis fall down on Mudkip at the exact same time, making a beautiful scene. “Wow. That was good. And Sharmaine has ran out of points!” Jr said smiling. “What a beautiful picture! But it seems Sharmaine has run out of points, so Natalie is the winner of the Cosmosis Contest!” Myles said. Leaf and Natalie spun around celebrating. “Wow. You are really good. I enjoyed battling you. Maybe we will meet again someday.” Sharmaine said, waving and walking out of the stadium. Natalie received her contest ribbon, which was teal with 2 bows on it. Outside of the stadium, Jr, Natalie, and Julius met up. “Great job Nat!” Jr said. “Thanks guys. Now I guess you can go train or do whatever you wanted to do before right?” Natalie questioned. “Yeah, you coming?” Jr asked Julius and Natalie. “Of course!” They said together, running toward route 305. Chapter 11: Makin’ a Comeback: Part 2 They crew had just come in the forest. Jr was looking for a new Pokemon to help him beat Aika. He thought back. What Pokemon did she have? Jr rubbed his chin as he walked. …She had a Clefairy… And a Whismur. Now, what is a normal Pokemon’s weakness? Jrs thinking was interrupted by a swoosh in front of his face. A black shadow went behind a nearby tree. “W- what was that? Looked like a ghost!” Natalie stammered. Jr shrugged. “I dunno. Maybe it was the shadow of a bird Pokemon—“ “No, it looked like a ghost. It had no silhouette of a bird—“ “Just forget it! It didn’t bother us. No need to argue over what it was!” Julius snapped. He had been quiet this whole situation, but he seemed as peevish as Jr at the contest. He sighed. “Let’s get this over with, so we can get back to Cosmosis city.” Julius finished. Something ruffled in the bushes, and Jr beckoned the others over. Out sprang a Htimontop, spinning on its head. Jr stared in awe, at the Pokemon. That’s it, he thought, I need a fighting Pokemon! “Alright lets go Umbreon!” Jr threw out his Pokemon. The Umbreon snarled. Julius and Natalie backed off to the side. “He might actually get this Pokemon and beat Aika!” Natalie whispered. Julius nodded. “Yeah, he might” Julius said. Jr started battling. “Okay Umbreon use pursuit!” Umbreon dashed at the Hitmontop, a dark aura following behind him. Hitmontop didn’t seem to know what to do so it stood there, and got hit by the attack. It got back up then hopped back on his head and began to spin rapidly at Umbreon—It was using rolling kick. Jr smiled and then gave his commands. “Sand attack!” Umbreon kicked up dirt in Hitmontop’s face, stopping him in its tracks. Jr then tossed out a pokeball. It wiggled once, then twice, then there was a click as if a lock was closing. “We caught it!” Jr said, picking up the pokeball, then Umbreon, swinging him in the air. “Now… To check the pokedex…” Jr took out his pokedex and Hitmontops image came up. It read, “It fights while spinning like a top. The centrifugal force boosts its destructive power by 10.” “Nice!” Jr said. Natalie and Julius then came over, congratulating him and showering him with praise. “Now we can go back to the Pokemon Center right?” Julius asked. Jr chuckled. “Yeah, we can.” He replied. They began to walk down the path until Jr bumped into a kid with white hair.He had on some clean white shoes, blue jeans, and a red T-shirt under a blue jacket. He was very handsome, with strong features and a emotionless face. He looked at least 13. The kid turned around and sneered. “Watch where you’re going!” He exclaimed. “Hmph, you’re a Pokemon trainer?” He said to Jr “Look more like a little kid to me,” Jr was infuriated by that comment. He turned around, and quickly scanned the PokéBall with the Pokedex to see what moves the Hitmontop knows. “…Revenge, rolling kick… focus energy… Okay, I’m ready for you! Go Hitmontop!” Jr threw out the PokéBall. Julius was surprised. Using a Pokemon he’s just caught… Bold… The white-haired kid threw out a Treecko. Jr resisted. He was to concentrated to win this battle to check what a Treecko really was. But he guessed from the way it looks it’s a grass Pokemon. The kid gave action. “Treecko use quick attack.” He said emotionlessly. The Treecko ran towards Hitmontop. “Dodge Hitmontop!” Hitmontop spun away with incredible speed, leaning from side to side, awaiting orders. “Great! Now, rolling kick!” Hitmontop spun at the Treecko kicking it at least 3 times. The Treecko fell to the ground, unable to get up.“Return!” The kid commanded. “You got lucky. But not so lucky this time! Go Ambipom!” A monkey like creature came out. It had at least 4 arms. The kid mumbled something that could only be heard by Ambipom. Then it sprang forward. It scratched at Hitmontop with its longer set of arms. Hitmontop moved back. “Quick use revenge!” Hitmontop spun at Ambipom, faster and stronger, knocking it into a tree. Ambipom landed back on his feet. “Use Sand-Attack” The kid said Ambipom kicked up some dirt, aimed at Hitmontop. “Quick Hitmontop, spin!” Following orders, He began to spin on his head, reflecting the sand back at Ambipom. The dirt hit the unexpecting Pokemon in the eyes blinding it. “Now, use rolling kick to finish it off!” Hitmontop spun at the Pokemon, knocking it off its feet, up in the air. The Ambipom came crashing down on the ground, fainted. “Ha! We won!” Jr celebrated with Hitmontop, then turned to the kid. “Hey what’s you name?” He asked before he walked away. “Trenton. My name is Trenton.” And he walked off. Natalie came over. “Looks like you’ve got yourself a rival.” She said. They continued down the path, to the Cosmosis Pokemon Center. Now I can beat Aika Jr thought.
