Everybody's Favorite DDR Posts: 832 Group: Moderators Member #4 Joined: December 16, 2006	“who are they?” Bios Maila Age: 13 Gender: Obviously female… Height: Just under 61” Weight: 108.9 lbs Who!?: Maila is everyone’s hero! Miles isn’t in that bracket, though--he‘s his own hero! She’s saved the city of Koto, Kinaray…about a million times. She first met Miles a few years ago, when she got her first Pokemon, who hasn’t evolved since. Ever since Miles has been around, strange things have happened to Koto. And she’s been the one getting all the credit for saving the city, despite the fact she wouldn’t be where she is if it weren’t for Miles. Now, she’s the most well-known girl in all of Koto, not to mention an established Trainer. Either way, she’s below Miles in everything except fame and popularity. Now, she, along with Miles, Latias, and Latios are currently living in the same building, living out fairly normal lives. She’s nowhere near as interesting as Miles, unfortunately for those who’d like to know more about her. Likes: Maila’s the kind of gal who likes pretty much everything positive. Dislikes: see above …That means she doesn’t really like man negative things. Miles Age: 15 Gender: At first glance he looks like a spiky-haired girl, but he’s really a boy. Height: Around 66” Weight: A few pounds under 130 Who!?: Milesson Himenello is Maila’s “faithful,” sidekick who never seems to get the attention he deserves. After spending absolutely forever in her shadow, he’s come to surface as his own hero now. He grew up in The Milesson Estate, the biggest mansion in all of Kalimba, which had been named after his father, who happens to be a Team Magnum Councilor. After a while, Miles realized what his father did for a job and ran away, taking a large some of money with him. With that money, he started his new life in Koto, where he soon met Maila. Though Miles didn’t just bring a ton of money to Koto with him; he brought unusual happenings as well. Each and every single one of them being traced back to Team Magnum. Despite his older age, higher skill level as a Trainer, and overall better athletic ability, he’s seen more as a very active sidekick. Now, however, he plays a more important role, being the powerhouse of the team in Chain of Souls, behind Latios and Latias of course. He’s quite the prodigy actually. His national percentiles all exceed 70% and he can be incredibly clever at times. On an unrelated note, he lives with Latias and Latios in a three-bedroom apartment. Likes: Hamburgers, videogames, reading well-written stories, cake, fashion that stands out, adventure, the attention he deserves. Dislikes: Crowds, idiots, water (he can’t swim), darkness, his dad, mean people. Latios Age: 20 (The Pokémon values can be found in a Pokédex) Height: 71” Weight: Somewhere around 160 lbs Likes: Pizza, a good read, secluded areas, time-consuming hobbies, the antics of his little sister and Miles, being in charge. Dislikes: Anyone who’d dare touch her unless Latias allows, criminals, pretty much everything living. Latias Age: 19 Height: 64 Weight: Around 135 lbs Likes: Miles (yes, Latias thinks he’s cute and is actually his unofficial girlfriend!), Shiny things (jewels/precious metals), humans in general, the sky. Dislikes: Things that are cruel to Pokémon. The Lati Siblings (Latios AKA Kel and Latias AKA Llia) Latios and Latias first had their appearance in the fifth Pokémon movie, though they aren’t the ones from Altomare. It was an important detail left out in the American release that there are many other Latios and Latias in the world, though they are rare. When they came into the lives of Miles and Maila, things in Koto returned to normal. Latios mastered taking human shape to blend in, but he modeled his human appearance after a foreign pop star he saw on a power in Maila’s room, which has gotten him mixed up at times. Latias, modeled her new human form after a girl she saw on the street once. The two were slowly taught human speech by Miles and Maila, but they’ve yet to master the English Language, thus their grammar is off on occasion, or a word is mispronounced. When people question their mastery over the English language, however, they say they originated from a non-English speaking country, to keep their cover from being blown. The two also have yet to completely master elements of displaying human emotion, such as tone of voice, cues, and facial and vocal expression. Latios tends to be more on the silent and more serious side, being the most mature of the group. He’s the decided leader when Maila isn’t around. Latios is Miles’ guardian, since he’s over eighteen, he can legally take care of the boy. Latias is the comic relief, being the one who’s near constant smile tends to ruin her ability to properly show human emotion. She’s also referred to as “the skeptical one,” by Miles and Latios. She lives in the same three-bedroom apartment as Latios and Miles.
