Vampire is what I am Posts: 296 Group: Members Member #40 Joined: March 16, 2007	I took the puppy dog face look off and just growled. "Idiot!" I bellowed. I got up painfully and grabbed Seygarue's spear. "Crayshaw Secora Maythetempt! Holy Light of the Gods!" A large orb appeared at the tip of the spear. In seconds it blew apart and many strands of light came out, illuminating every corner and small space. Oblivion, in his darkness, howled in pain and let us all go. "Told you, Seygarue." I said, tiredness taking over. "Never doubt dragon lore. Or read up on it." I fell to the ground, unconsiouce. (Definitely need spelling there.)

He used his won magical strength to pull that one off...and now he's out, like a rock." I stepped over a log. "Come--the sooner we get to Bayfrontsei, the sooner we'll be safer from whatever's hiding in the denser regions of the forest. I'll leave it up to you to decide whether you just leave Nyra there or drage him along. I'm only here to help when I'm geniuinely required."

I don't think I could if I tried. Well, I could try, but I'd probably end up dropping him somewhere." Still, I was slightly concerned by the vagueness that Seygarue had used. 'Whatever's hiding in the denser regions of the forest.' I don't like the sound of that.... I cast a distracted look and the two siblings. "Lura? Kyiko? Any ideas?"

"Are you all right?" asked Lura. "I-I think so," "Good. WHY did you use so much power that you could have killed yourself?" steamed Lura. "I," "Don't do that again. One cannot stand alone. We are together in whatever we face. We're here to help," said Lura, her tone softening with every word. "That's right!" said Kyiko.

"Outta the woods and into a town I don't like." I whispered, "I'm flying away from that town, see you on the other side of it!" I jumped into the air and flew off towards and beyond the town. "What's his problem?" Kyiko asked. No one answered him because no one knew what was wrong with me and that town. Too many kills in that there town. I thought to myself. I'll eventually have to tell them this. ((OOC: So why is it mainly me that revives the RPs? Just wondering by the way, ))

It was a nice day (night, whatever the heck time of day it is) for flying and that's just what I'm gonna do. With my wings outstretched I sailed through the sky in an almost lazy way. I closed my eyes and I hummed The Mummer's Dance (Loreena McKennit...however you spell it. ). Unfortunately, I didn't see a person flying toward me and the two of us rammed into each other. I caught myself before I fell to the ground and looked up at the person. "Sorry," I said shortly and then I realized that he was heading away from the town, "Getting out of town as well?" I crossed my arms across my chest as I waited for his answer. Lot's of people have been fleeing the town for some time, now, and I was just on my way out. I was only staying for the night, after all. ((Well, I'll put my second character's info down, just in case: Name: Ryuuto Mizu Age: 15 Gender: Male Race: Siren (the half-bird half-human kind) Personality: Ryuuto is a person who appears to have unlimited patience. He is also calm in almost any situation, trying to think things through before he acts. Ryuuto is known to always follow what his head is telling him, refusing to follow his heart in most cases. He believes that if he follows his heart, then he will make the wrong decisions. Ryuuto is a bit distant, but it�s only because he really doesn�t know how to interact with other people. It may take a lot to anger him, but you can tell when he does get angry. His eyes will look like they were made of ice, his voice gets emotionless, and his body slightly tenses up. Ryuuto�s ferocity when angered is equal to a tidal wave. Appearance: Ryuuto has flaming red hair that spikes up everywhere. He claims that his hair is naturally spiky. His eyes are emerald green in color, and seem to glow with an unending patience. He has lightly tanned skin, is four foot eight, and weighs around one hundred fifteen pounds. Some people think that Ryuuto has anorexia, but he doesn�t. It�s just how he�s always been. He wears a black tank top with a blue siren on the front and siren wings on the back. His pants are blue jeans that cut off at the beginning of his calf. Ryuuto also wears black, ankle-length boots that are zipped. Around his neck is a silver chained necklace with a sapphire siren attached to it. In the right light, the sapphire looks almost like it was made of water. He also wears silver band bracelets on both of his wrists. His wings are more or less like Angel wings, strangely. The feathers are pale blue and look like their made of ice. He is able to hide his wings, of course. Other: Doesn't sing a lot since he's a Siren. Ryuuto likes puzzles and lock-picking. He hates loud sounds, bad singing, and overly-optimistic people.

With a shrug I follow him, needing some answers about that town. I found him in a cove that was pretty well sheltered. Thanking my lucky stars that I have good sensing abilities and walked inside, dismissing my wings. "Sorry, but you appear to be the only one sane enough to give me some answers," I apologized sincerely as I leaned against the wall on my left. My amber eyes regarded him slightly. "Barely anyone in the town is sane any more, all of them terrified about something. Only the children seem to be the sane ones and they don't understand what's going on either," I explained, hoping that he might be able to help me. Patiently, I waited for him to think it over and answer. ~Ryuuto's POV~ I was only walking through the forest surrounding the town before sensing a few presences here and there. Two of which were on the outskirts on the other side of the town while a group were walking toward the settlement. Deciding that the group heading toward the "ghost" town might be intending on staying for the night, I walk over to meet them. Apparently, they weren't as big as I had thought. Patiently I waited for them to approach me, each with either curious or suspicious looks on their faces. I just smiled at them in a friendly way. "Heading to the town?" I asked and only a few of them nodded, "I wouldn't if I were you. The people in the settlement have gone insane from an event that happened some years ago. What that event was, I don't know. Me and my friend are trying to figure that out at the moment, but the children are the only ones who are sane and they don't understand what happened either."

By the way, I saw you dismiss your wings, whats with that? You're half angel and something else. So whats the other half?" "I'm half angel and half phoenix." She replied. (Sorry if I spelled that wrong or got it wrong, just let me know if I did.) "Hmm. Did you ever hear of the Oblivion Master?" I asked her. She seemed as if lost in thought but then shook her head no. "So then, no one else knows except for me and my group." I looked at my scars that were all over my body and frowned. "That town, it was destroyed, and I know by who." The half breed looked up sharply and saw the sadness that my body was emitting. ((OOC: Cue; anyone.))

What are you doing, walking so fast?" he asked, finally catching up with her. Lura stopped suddenly. A sharp pain throbbed at her wrist. She looked down to see a burnt mark of a claw on it. "I knew it. How could I have been so careless?" asked Lura softly. "What? What is it, Lura?" asked Kyiko, coming closer. Lura backed away. "Don't come near me Kyiko. You'll only get into even more trouble. I have disobeyed the order of the Water Elves. If you stay near me, you might have the same fate," said Lura. "What? What are you talking about?" asked Kyiko. "I've bounded myself with a dragon," said Lura. "You...what?" breathed Kyiko. "I am bound to a dragon," said Lura. "How could you!" cried Kyiko, backing away. "It just sort of happened," said Lura. "What dragon is it? I shall slay him to unbind you!" "Kyiko...please..."

"But first, please tell me why you followed me?" When I noticed that she wouldn't reply without the answer to the town, Ijust looked down crossly and told her to get comfy. Sad music starts to play "This happened twenty years ago, when I was still a child. My race came to this land to find a new hope, a new place to start out. But when they made their presence known, the whole continent rejected them. So, in respite, my people attacked. That town was where they made there stand. They were slaughtered, but only one had survived. My father was that one. "He came back and told us that they needed more troops to get that town. A problem occured and it took until the time that I had fled for the troops to be assembled. That was one year ago. The troops are now assembled and are wasting no time into getting this small 'base.'" I looked up and saw the terrible look on her face. I continued my story, "I was sent as a scout to see how many soldiers were posted here. Although, when I got here, two months ago, I was welcomed with relief, the people saying something of a hero in the disguise of a Warrior Dragon, or as I told them, Draconian. "I went with them to their leader, the Headman. That's what they called him, because no one knew his name. So, I entered his hut and was surprised at what I saw. It was my uncle. He was claimed to have been killed in battle, but here he was. He exclaimed his happiness at seeing that I was alive and well. But, in the end, he told me that.....that he would die soon. He had reached the oldest age in my race. Three thousand, eight hundred fifty six. That was how old he was. In his eyes, I was still a kid. Heh, but still, I told him of an attack coming from our people, and he was shocked into sadness by that fact. He told me to sleep here that night and then leave before dawn. He told me to find a dragon named Seygarue and request that he bring in the defences for the town." Again I looked at the Half Breed and saw a few tears running down her face, "But, as I found Seygarue, he was in the midst of a fight and I couldn't ask him to send the defences because I knew that what I was doing for my people was wrong. I was too worried about him being killed that I went into the fight and helped him. But then, by that time, I had forgotten why I went there and lived on in my rage and sadness. But it is too late for the defences to be brought. The army will arrive within a week. That's why the townspeople are fleeing and that's why I can't stay there. I am willing to sacrifice myself for this town, even if it means being killed by my father. Or, killing my father. I'm not going to tell them yet. Not until they get to where we are." I returned my stare down onto the ground and let a few tears of sadness slide down my scaley cheeks. Its too late. The army will be here too soon. I can't rest until then. I thought to myself. I couldn't hold the tears back any longer and I started to cry. I realized that my fate was about to end, or just begin. "I don't want this to happen!" I bellowed, startling the other person in the cove. ending of sad music

Posts: 749 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: December 14, 2006	Furious at being left behind, yet having no way to be immediately useful, I soared after Lura and Kyiko. Lura was effortlessly in the lead, what with the brisk pace she was maintaning. Both were holding true to their promises of following whichever elf or dragon each was supposed to shadow. I had made no promises of my own, so I decided to follow the role of annoying tag-along. Lura's sudden halt caught me off-guard. As she talked to her younger brother, I folded my wings the instant she stopped moving but, as a result, plunged beakfirst into the ground. Now that I accidentally held the two elves' full attention, I snorted in what I hoped was a dignified way and flapped my wings self-importantly. "Everyone's swapping sob-stories," I lamented to the confused, and perhaps irritated, pair. "Please tell me you're talking about something else."

"Kyiko...please stop it," started Lura. She looked down at the ground. "Perhaps it would be best if you'd go back home," "No, Lura...how did it happen?" "I healed him," answered Lura simply. "You did...what? Lura, you actually healed a dragon? How...I don't understand. After what all the dragons have done to our land? They are our enemies. If a dragon is injured then let it feel the pain." Lura whirled and faced her brother, anger blaring in her heart. "Kyiko, you just don't understand. You're young. You were not born when the dragons entered our land. They told us their enemies drove them out of their land and they needed a place to stay. They stayed for a short time, and then their king informed me, while Father was away, that they would be leaving within a fortnight. A day later, he died. A new king then reigned and he would not leave. He enslaved our people and we were helpless to their attack. None of the other Elven tribes would aid us. That is the story of our demise, Kyiko. Whatever Father told you or our people was not true. It is obvious that the current king killed the old one. How, I know not," said Lura. She turned and began walking again. ___________________________________________________________________ Can someone pull the three of us together? I haven't a clue where we all are. IC: I finally stopped and looked outside the cave. I walked slowly there and saw that some people were moving towards the town. "Its them." I told the other on in there, "I'm going to meet them and tell them everything. Thank you for listening." With that, I flew out and met my friends. I said a shy hello and then explained everything to them. The shocked faces were a little bit of a surprise, but they surprised me again. Lura had then told me what she told her brother and I was saddened by that. That dragon king was a friend of my king's. No wonder my king is trying to get land in here. I thought. OOC: Man, its been too long. RAMZAM NEEDS TO POST NOW. OR SOMEONE ELSE, SIDES FROM ME AND ANTHEZAR.
