I need that push into a conversation and your character is the ideal character to do it. XP)) "Come to think of it, I should've killed that man, when I had the chance." I said, absently. "Because, chances are, he'll bring them." I cringed, remembering past injuries. I turned my attention to Lura. "Thank you, Lura. But I can't think of much for you to do, besides cool off weapons..." "Wait. Who are these...'them?' " The griffin asked...of course, I'd just noticed it. I sighed. "A group of Lirako dragons that call themselves The Family of Thievery. They're more or less just a gang of thugs, who terrorize other creatures. But, whenever that man comes by, I could make him something exactly as directed, but he'd say it wasn't right. Then he'd bring them here and they'd trash the place, steal the better half of my things, then leave me in critical physical condition. One time, they almost took my good arm off. We only have one day--maybe less." I said, returning to my work. "But I'm going to make sure I'm ready, this time..." I muttered. A fierce roar rang out in the distance. "Lura, fit the Griffin and yourself into some armor. Find a good weapon as well, but hurry--we don't have much time, judging how close that roar was." I said and double-timed making my sword. The large sword was done in minutes. I highly doubted any human could carry it. I rushed into my scratched up armor, no thanks to Kinaray, then got back my sword. "I don't want the two of you hurt, don't let them get close." I added, untying Kinaray. "Go hide somewhere." I said, to him and he ran off. "Frankly, I'm surprised they were so close..." I muttered, watching the tunnel that led out of the cave.

Lura handed her special weapons for griffins. "I didn't catch your name," said Lura. "Oh it's Tsubasa, but just call me Tsuki." "I'm Lura." They ran out into the hall. Lura looked at the water buckets. If she could use them in just the right way... "Shea blakto!" shouted Lura. The water from the buckets rose out and form tentacles around her. "I'm ready!" said Lura to Seygarue.

I shied away from Lura's water slightly due to recent experiences with the stuff. Regardless, I called out to Seygarue as well. "As am I," I said, then thought, even if the armor might be a little over-sized. I doubted many griffins came calling asking for armor, that, and I was a kind of small for my species. I flexed my claws nervously. And now we wait....

Everybody's Favorite DDR Posts: 832 Group: Moderators Member #4 Joined: December 16, 2006	By the time I made it to the doorway to check on the armor room, where Lura and the griffin were, a voice spoke. "Hiya, Seygarue." It said, in a happy/grim voice. I immediately turned around. Several dragons, led by the most sinister-looking black dragon I'd ever come across. They were most definitely not Hosuraki dragons. They weren't in my general relation--just the fact that they were quadrupeds explained the difference. The Family of Thievery. "What do you wan this time?" I growled, glaring at the leader. Her voice showed absolutely no interest. "Take a guess. You know we want compensation for going through the trouble of flying all the way here." She said, looking over her claws. "I don't have time for games, Likeria! Save yourself some trouble and get lost--some juvenile already destroyed the valuable things!" I roared in anger and whipped my tail about, smashing a ceadar-wood table and shattering several crystaline objects. Likeria gave me an impressed look. A few of the other dragons muttered things to themselves. "Ouch." "Wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that." "Damn, he's strong..." "Oh, would you shut up?" Likeria snarled at them. I blew fire from my nostrils. "I have visitors--I'm not up to dealing with dishonorable thieves like you. Ganging up on me all the time." I said, darkly. It seemed Likeria just noticed my armor. "Oh, so you're going to fight back, this time? You know, we can't kill you--you're how we get all our money: Easy prey." She said, in her usual dull voice. I growled. "But if you're going to act like such a tough guy, then I guess we'll have to put you in your place...again." She sighed. I filled my lungs, turning the better half of the air in them to fire. I unleashed an immense inferon, but it didn't seem to even phase Likeria or her goons. They all just hopped onto various platforms, as the fire disipated. I'd forgotten we were in a cave. "Is that your best?" She asked, giving me a look. I held my sword ready.

I asked, noticing the giant inferno and dragons jumping out of the way, "I hope Seygarue is doing alright." "Seygarue! Coming down!" I snarled. As I flew down onto a landing opposite Seygarue, I noticed that their were other dragons, they were the ones from the Family of Thievery. "Ah. If it isn't our friend, Nyra!" Their leader, Likeria said. "Seygarue, you want any help?" I asked, glaring back at Likeria.

Also, Seygarue doesn't even know Nyra.)) "All of you get lost!" I shouted. "The same goes for whoever your friend, there is!" I added, glaring at Likeria. "Now, now--don't be so feisty!" Likeria exclaimed and smiled. "Riveing." She barked, looking back. "Take care of that mutant back there." She said, then turned her attention back to me. One of her goons turned and started at the creature at the mouth of the cave. "You Hosurakies are always so violent...it kind of turns me on." By now I'd had enough. "BE GONE!!!" I roared, with ground-shaking volume. "IF NOT, PREPARE TO FACE DIRE CONSEQUENCES!!!" Likeria recoiled in shock. "Okay, shut this guy up already!" She exclaimed and her other two goons jumped at me. I pushed one away, with the flat of my blade and dodged the other.

With a snarl, I lept into the fray, slamming into the dragon Seygarue had pushed aside. I attacked the paper-thin membrane of his wings, shredding it. He howled in pain. I tried to claw his side, but my claws were useless against his scales. He turned to look at me as I sat frustrated on his back. He laughed. Furious, I pecked his nose, causing him to howl in pain once more. I hope he doesn't decide to start blowing fire any time soon... I thought.

As I returned my attention back to the dragon that had started to charge me, I slipped out my double bladed scimitar and dodge the attack. "Pretty fast for an old one are ya?" I taunted. "That'll be enough from you!" Riveing snarled. "Haha. Think you can match my speed?" I inquiered. As I charged ahead, I noticed that Riveing had something held in his claw, before I knew what it was, he threw it at me, cause a bright light to appear. "Argh!" "Now whose talking?" Riveing laughed, "As for that taunt, try this on for size!" He then launched a massive flame towards me. I was not able to dodge all of it because I had a searing pain flare into my left arm. "Is that the best you can do?" I groweled, then I myself launched a massive inferno towards Riveing. As I suspected, I thought. "You have to use cheap shots to beat an opponent!" Riveing then lauched himself up into the air and challenged me to a battle up high. "You can't match my speed in the air!" I yelled. I jumped high into the air and caught an updraft. Once I was leveled out, Riveing charged. I easily slid to the left with an underhanded attack that caught Riveing on the left side of his body. He groweled in pain and anger and then revearsed direction and charged, but this time, with his own weapon, his claws; widespread. Hope you make it through this Seygarue. I thought.

Everybody's Favorite DDR Posts: 832 Group: Moderators Member #4 Joined: December 16, 2006	The dragon I'd just dodged immediately spun around and jumped out me. I grabbed it, by the scruff of the neck and threw it. Likeria must've just been watching, considering she hadn't attacked yet. I kept my attention on my enemy. I rolled to it's feet and lashed out with even greater speed. I took a full on charge to the stomach. the dragon's head left a considerable dent in the armor. Whatever air was in my lungs shot out in a burst of fire. I inhaled sharply, after the impact and nearly choked, somehow. It clawed my hand, knocking the sword from my grasp and it hit the ground, with a heavy clang. I snapped at the dragon's neck, to find I'd bitten nothing but air. "What'll you do without your weapon?" It asked, grinning, then lashed out, mouth wide open. I narrowly avoided getting my own neck stuck in a death lock. I immediately seized the opportunity myself and bit down on the dragons neck. It thrashed about, attempting to escape, but soon gave up realizing that my jaw was far too strong. I bit down and snapped a couple of the bones in it's neck and let it fall to the ground, dead. I sharp, burning pain erupted in my back and I immediately turned around. No Likeria struck, with what was probably acid. The upper half of the armor fell off, with the back melted off. At least none of the acid actually got on me. She was glaring at me, teeth bared and obviously angry. "That was my brother!" She growled, still glaring up at me.

Advanced Member Posts: 632 Group: Moderators Member #20 Joined: January 13, 2007	Lura couldn't keep track who was who. She could tell who was the enemy though. One of them charged at her. She felt the power flow through her soul. A long strip of water collided with the dragon and it went flying. Lura ran to the girl dragon that was named Likeria. "Leave Seygarue ALONE!" Lura shouted as she ran. She drew out a sword. Likeria backed away, drawing her sword as fast as she could. There was a shower of sparks as the metals connected. "Feisty one aren't you?" said Likeria between blows. "Yep, I sure am," said Lura, blasting a water magic at her.

"Looks like you made a mistake, little griffin," he said. I smirked. "Not even close." In the next instant, a firey blast erupted where I had been a second before, unfortunately for the dragon, that place was his back. He cried out in anguish, having doused his wings in flame as well. I watched from the air above him as he turned himself into a s'more. "Who made the mistake?" I asked. Ashamed, and no doubt in terrible pain, he fled like the coward he was. They're already falling apart, I noted grimly. Seygarue had already killed one, and now he and Lura had teamed up against Likera. Another dragon who appeared was fighting one of Likera's goons mano-a-mano. Kinaray was nowhere to be seem. It's probably for the best. Deciding to help the newcomer, I turned in the air and rammed Riveing's underside sharply, possibly saving the other dragon a nasty scratch. I looked at him. New or not, he had at least a little battle sense. "C'mon, let's finish this," I urged.

Oh, plus, Nyra graduated at the head of his class for close combat.)) "Yeah! You hit him high, I'll hit him low!" I agreed, "And, if you didn't know, my name is Nyra." I charged forward without looking back to see if my new found friend was charging with me. As I charged forward, I noticed a shadow flying above me, so I guessed it was the griffin, but it turned out to be Riveing having at a dive attack. Once I realized this, I quickly dodged and did a large back circle, a cut across. I looked back to see that the dragon was chasing me and hadn't realized I now had an ally. "I love games of cat and mouse!" I yelled. ((OOC: No offense or anything Ram, but is that good?))

((OOC: Yes, that's better.)) ((OOC: Oh, right. Anthezar, the Lirako dragons don't stand like Seygarue. The Hosuraki are Seygarue's dragon species and the Lirako are a different species--they're quadrupeds, like most dragons.)) Obviously not willing to deal with Lura, Likeria immediately turned and and leapt at me. As I saw the stream of fire, pouring from her mouth, I kicked a table into the air. But, something I didn't expect, was her just completely smashing the table and tackling me to the ground. I threw her back and got to my feet, only to jump and wrestle her to the ground, a few seconds later. She struggled under the weight of my body, growling all sorts of profanities in the Dragonese language. I held her snout shut and pointed her head straight into the air. "Do us all a favor and get lost before anyone else gets hurt. I don't have any interest in fighting. Also, go find yourself some other 'easy prey." She'd stopped speaking, now. "It's wrong to kill a female and I won't, but that doesn't mean I can't hurt you. Now you have two choices. You can leave on your own, or I could throw you clear over the horizon." I said, still holding her pinned to the ground. Icould feel her muscles straining against my weight, not willing to give up.

His wings faltered for an instant, causing him to loose altitude. Then with two powerful strokes, he was back at the same height he had been. He turned to glare at me. "Look you..." he snarled. Once again, I could feel heat emanating from the dragon. I've seen this before, I thought, urging myself not to panic. I pounded furiously on his nose with my beak. The heat dissipated and he roared. I leaped back just as he snapped at me. Malice in his eyes, he observed me cooly as I flew away. Now would be a good time for Nyra to attack.

Vampire is what I am Posts: 296 Group: Members Member #40 Joined: March 16, 2007	As I saw the griffin flying away in a mock feint, by guess, I had seen enough of his tactics to see the opening in his defence. Once I did see the opening, I smiled wickedly and charged forward. When I got close to Riveing, I issued a low growl and he turned just in time to recieve a double bladed slash against both of his forelegs. "Leave now before I decide to kill you, Riveing!" I said, rather coldly. "You have not seen the last of me and Likeria!" He growled back. As I dislodged my double bladed scimitars from his forelegs, he puffed out some smoke and blew fire right in my face, blinding me. I started falling towards the ground, but I groped for the dragon's legs and found one of them. His laughter, to which it seems he started laughing as I started to fall, had suddenly stopped with his mind realing on how to get rid of my weight. "Ha. Did you think I would just leave you alone?" I taunted. He growled at me and flew straight for the side of the cave tunnel, "I'll kill you before that happens!" "You'll die soon enough." I whispered. I lost consciousness and felt the wind falling all around me. "Griffin, hear me. Try to catch me." I barely managed to whisper.

A blast of hot flames burst from her mouth. Lura barely missed out on being burned. She used the water to encase herself in a protective bubble. Another dragon fell dead at Seygarue's feet. It was only Likeria and Riveing left. Likeria looked shocked that Lura hadn't received so much as a tiny burn. She started to back away. "Riveing, let's get out of here," Her wings spread out and she lifted into the air. Riveing followed suit. "I'll be back Seygarue. I'll be back when you have no one to help you," said the dragon with an oath. "So, do I get to stay?" asked Lura smiling at Seygarue. He just stared at her. Lura looked at the Draconian. "Do you know him? For some odd reason he knows your name," said Lura.

My mom described the script as "drivel," and I had to agree. It sounded like really cheesy shojo meets sci-fi/fantasy. Just my opinion, even though that wasn't directed at me.) "Like that's going to happen," I grimaced. I snagged the dragon just before he hit the ground, managing to slow his decent enough so that he didn't break every bone in his body when he hit the ground. He still landed loudly, causing Lura and Seygarue to turn around and look. "Don't mind him," I said, walking towards them but looking over my shoulder towards Nyra. "He's kinda off in La La Land." I tilted my head to one side. "Now what?"

As I looked up, I saw that the whole world was black. I thrashed about then felt nice, warm hands press down on me. I calmed at once, without knowing why. "Who is their?" I asked. When no one answered, I came up into a sitting position to see an elf, a griffin, and a dragon looking at me from across the room, or at least I hoped they were looking at me. I guessed they weren't so I spun around in a way to get up and saw that their was no one where they were looking. "Whats going on? Where are Riveing and Likeria?"
