Classic Rules Amendment 1.0.1

The following amendments have been made to the rules, assets list, and to Avalon:

Major things to note:

  • We start with all resources in territories (NOT three times that amount)
  • We start with a capitol building & power plant in our capitals; TCBs in every other territory
  • All resources are x10 in Avalon
  • We start with 500 food now
  • 1 food is needed to feed 100 people per week
  • Leisure acts as a multiplier with population for weekly revenue
  • Silver is worth ¢50; Gold ¢100
  • All resource & monetary costs have been updated for all assets
  • Movement cost is now in "PU" instead of "fuel"

The amendments on Policon say we get 100 PUs...but you didn't mention it here. Which is correct?

Yes we get 100 PU, and one power plant in the capital. I guess I thought I didn't mention it the first time in the list, but I did lol.

And always trust anything on the site over what I write here, since as you can see, I rip everything here from the site.

Mkay. One final question (my other things are just complaints about what you've decided, and belong in the shoutbox)

What is the differance between Special Forces and Infantry apart from time to build atm?

At the moment, nothing. Much of the military units are "useless" in the immediate present. You can of course still buy them, but Mike and I are redoing the war system (if you'll notice there's no section in the rules yet). I would have initially used my plan and kept all the stuff we're using for policon, but Mike says he has a pre-coded alternative - which we'll likely be using since it sounds simple.

If we used my system, SF would have certain tactical advantages over other infantry.

But since I don't know the system we're using yet, all the military units are moot until further notice. Probably by the end of this week, when Mike will also have the income script done.
