where we are heading, I would like to show the prospective mission statement for our future "company." I think that once you read and understand this, you will see what CCRPG and its parent company's role is, and how we are planning to structure and orient everything.

CCRPG.com/about

OUR MISSION
”To instill a political consciousness into the general public, cure political apathy, encourage activism, disseminate political viewpoints of all ranges, and provide a unique experience of education and practical application of politics.”

[Company Name] is a tool for the political activist and the common man alike.  It acts as a central hub for the discussion, dispersion, and criticisms of various ideas and ideologies.  Our goal, simply stated, is to promote political discussion and action on a broader scale than ever seen before.  Shattering the overstated left-right paradigm, we encourage the propagation and discussion of all viewpoints: from fascism to communism, libertarianism to anarchism, and everywhere in between.  At [Company Name], your background or beliefs do not matter as much as your ideas and spreading your message.  By harnessing the unlimited potential of the internet, we strive to attain these ends by means of:

  1. Country Capital RPG: Our original “claim to fame,” our virtual political simulator acts as our premier service for experimenting with politics, economics, and public relations.  Members assume control of their own customizable country, whilst simultaneously balancing the pressures of domestic politics with the interaction with other member’s nations on the global level.

  2. Our Forums: The community forums serve as the prime location for discussion.  Our friendly and respectable community frequently discusses a range of topics with a wide range of viewpoints, along with the great opportunity to network, or to converse with new friends.

Those of you that firmly believe in this statement and would like to have a key role in the parent company, please PM me and we will discuss the final "staff reorganization."

Thank you! If anyone has suggestions or comments on the statement itself, please feel free to critique it.

You are playing a game, and engaging in what I said above at the same time. This markets it towards two audiences - one being those seeking a cool strategy game, and the other seeking political connectivity. Thus, we broaden our horizons towards a larger set of groups, as well as have some productive contribution to society, a hallmark of a real company.

I'm assuming the creators of the other two(?) games will write up their own summations to explain how their games fit into these goals?

What do other people think of this?

I've heard from Red_Lieutenant, json, Alkeni Synair, and Lundy.

This affects all of you! Where are your voices?

I think it sounds professional and good.

Personally, I never really look at those things so much and judge the site/game/whatever it is by what's actually going on and such, but that's just me.

Fair enough, we are marketing to multiple audiences (strategic gamers being one).

BUMP, come on people!

While I can't say I really care for making it more of a hubub for straight up political chats, I do suppose it'll bring more people. I'm mainly afraid that this'll take more away from the game, but I am just paranoid. Also I don't like talking politics so it'll scare me away

I do like the overarchinig into other things and the professionalness though. ^_^
