Btw, Vista does suck, it isn't just the "fixable bugs" as you call them it's the requirement of 512MB RAM, just to start up. It's the inability to modify, it's the constant pointless updates and crap that Windows put's in your system folder it's all the problems of every other windows operating system since '95, AGAIN! Surely we should be making more efficient Operating Systems not Operating Systems that use up more and more of a computers ability. I would love to see Windows 3.1, if it could support it, on a computer with 1GB RAM, 100 GB Hardrive and 2GHz Processor, simply because it would run as fast as lightning. Windows only exists cause it was popular early on and was decently marketed to big companies, now the only reason I use Microsoft is because I have to cause everyone uses it and trying to move say a Macintosh file onto windows is a pain in the ass. And need I say more than..... Ctrl-Alt-Delete. |

Well I haven't tried it, so I don't know, but it is probably not as bad as that. Besides, making bad systems at first is how they make money, because then they sell better ones. You do realize that Computers made now adays could be 2-3x faster if the manufacturers wanted to, but that would cut into their profits. Bill gates and windows are just using good business sense. "Never sell the excellent when you can sell the crappy, then offer an upgrade to the excellent for a premium" Economics 101. Just wait a while, and they'll come out with a program that fixes Vista's bugs. |

I'm gonna piss on their plan and pirate it. Then when I'm old enough to actually have near the amount of money, I'm buying a Mac. |

They do make Mac versions of games. And when I'm older, I probably won't be playing games anyway, so it all works out. |

But it's those 5% that I wanna play. Besides, I rarely play games any more, so it doesn't matter. Paintball and airsoft is mucho better. |

Wrong, EA are releasing all their stuff onto Mac and most other campanies are doing so also. And to make a point, my XP machine dosn't support CoD 2 or Wow and just about survives with Zero Hour. And no Windows is simply shit, where's the premium version that fixed XP eh? I never saw it.
Well yes, but the problem is they wont be able to get any further soon, I've been in some of the labs for it and they're having to work with Quantun teams now to try and build a Quantum Computer. Because the way they make faster processors is by making them smaller, problem with that is once you get to atomic scale everything becomes weird. You get protons, anti-protons, quarks, colours of charge, the zoo of particles (you bloody americans and your stupid names for things ). The fact that every element wants to be Iron which is the most stable element of them all.No windows is purely shit, it's not they're waiting to release the premium version, it's that Vista really is the best they have to offer and Vista really is a big botch where Microsoft have panicked because of increased Macintosh sales in Industry. Seriously Macintosh have made a big impact on American, Japanese and Chinese markets. Hollywood now primarily uses macintosh, especially for CGI. Although it does help that Macintosh owns Pixar. My Mac OS 10.2.6 runs ten times better than my XP Professional Machine, which btw came out later. For a start the machine can actually support two operating systems Secondly the last time I needed to restart it because it froze was when I had to use.... Microsoft Internet Explorer! While not heavily modifiable a Mac can easily be fixed, the Unix encoding is just that little bit more efficient. However! even Macintosh cannot beat the almighty of operating Systems, yes that pengiun named.... Linux. The best goddamn Operating System there is. Easily Modifyable takes up virtually none of the system, updates are non-existent. Virus' are almost non-existent. The only downside is that it isn't compatible with a lot of programs and games which is, to be fair, a pain in the ass. |

I have serious doubts that Call of Duty 2, for example or that C&C game you like, actually have mac versions.... and T_A, Macs are not going to become popular among normal people because either A.) Like me, they don't give a shit as long as the computer has internet acsess and plays computer games or whatever it is they want or B.) They're too stupid to know that mac is "better" also why would I want two operating systems on one computer? MS/windows is better for ME because its simpler and doesn't come with a lot of extra shit like photoshop and other things I don't need. There are three things I want in a computer A.) Word Processing B.)Interet acsess C.) computer games Windows gives me that, and doesn't make me pay for shit I'm never going to use, unlike mac |
