Does your revenue multiply with the income you have or does it mulitply with your population?I sure hope it isn't your income is because that is just a crazy amount of money you can get.It is too easy to abuse the revenue because you could just keep on buying revenue buildings. We need a limit on how much revenue things we can I have I think.

Yeah, Ares just bought 73 museums or something. Maybe the people should riot from being so bored to death, because the only thing to do is to go to museums.

Yeah, this is getting f***ing ridiculous. We need to put a limit on the amount or tourist attractions people can put up.

If nothing is done, then a person can just continously buy more mints and REVENUE buildings every week until the multiplier number is ridculously high.Even though mints can eventually stop, the revinue buildings won't.

There's nothing wrong with mints, because there's nothing else to do with nickel and gold.

I know that.Mints can run out eventually becaus ethey hit a stopping point. However, revnue buildings odn't.With them, you can jsut create tons of them over time with your money until you have a godly amount of money.

...I just don't like mints because I have none right now :P

-_- pfft.

Let me explain my position. Currently my population will breach 1 million citizens come this sunday and I will own over 100 (if not higher) sectors. This means that my population could sustain such a large amount of tourism.

This is why I think the amount of tourism buildings you have should be based on your population/size.

And also, it's a REVENUE multiplier, it multiplies your total revenue (meaning all of your taxes added up).

The revenue multiplier is too easily abusable. The fact that a godly amount of money is generated every week isn't really something that should be allowed to stay in play.Should we just ignore it until you,or anyone else who gets it so much, can just use the revenue to mulitply there income by 100?

Well 73 museums is almost tripling the revenue. And I know that you have a whole lot of other things too, so you are probably 5 folding it or something.

We're not removing them, just setting a limit that the multiplier can only be 100%.

That's a negative on that. 73 museums generates a multiplier of 1.825, which is no where near tripling. Please, if you are going to use that as an argument, make sure your facts are right.

The fact is, if I spend my money on this instead of an army, then that's my decision. There are no rules against it and I still don't see a problem with it seeing as how it is a viable option for EVERYONE and is not just limited to me, which therefore does not make it godly but instead a worth-while venture.

I am not trying to single you out,but you are hte person that has brought it out to all of us.With revenue,it will just give a person a godly amount of money. And what do you think this person would do?Get more money. To do this, they'd buy more revenue buildings.Eventually it will just reach a hieght that will just ruin the game. There has to be some limit so that doesn't happen.Upkeep will just become an ant compared to the economy where untis may as well just be free.

I'm not disagreeing with this fact but you can't say you can only reach a certain multiplier. However, you could say only one revenue building per sector, which in that case I could still have what I have due to my size. This means that legitemately I should be able to have the buildings I have.

I, personally, don't think it's that big of a deal seeing as how currently there is no real way to make money (seeing as how we have no bank/interest system in play), which means that saving money is useless.

So, if you are going to limit revenue multipliers than PLEASE give an alternative option to add to the game, seeing as how that will be taking away a MAJOR way of gaining money.

I am just wanting it so that revenue is not abused in the future, because from what I have seen in MDIC it's quite easily abused once you start up and get everything situated for it.
