We need to establish a pricing system to estimate the prices for each stock. Any ideas?

For those of you in the IPWEA, I was thinking something along the lines of WS scores...

i was thinking it would depend on what it is, take my Enron for example, it would be based on Velunese Oil Production

like mabye stock price is Oil Produced/week*1000?
Work in progress.

@WHO: No, because a company doesn't trade resources, only countries

Anyways, I agree with Reian

I've come up with a formula that seems to work:

[Amount of Product Produced per week - Upkeep of product industry factories] / [Total Revenue of Nation]

Ex 1:
Produced: 100 Oil
Upkeep: 25
Revenue: 100,000

PRICE: 1,000

Ex 2:
Produced: 200 Oil
Upkeep: 50
Revenue: 100,000

PRICE: 500

Ex 3:
Produced: 100 Oil
Upkeep: 25
Revenue: 200,000

PRICE: 2,000

Therefore, as production increases much more than the production, the price decreases, and as the nation's wealth increases much more than the production, the price increases. If both statistics increase proportionately, the price stays the same.

I've also made a MS Excel program to keep track of these stats if someone wants to operate it each week. ^_^

The formula in your examples is just revenue divided by the # produced.
I can also do the Excel.

The problem is that the more resouces you produce per week, the lower the price. That does work with the supply and demand thing, but if you make 1 resouce a week, your price should be lower

Well it's supply and demand.

As you produce more, the price goes down cause the demand isn't as much. If you produce less, the price goes up since the demand is high. (We assume).

If there was only one candy bar in the whole world, would people really pay 1,000,000 for it?

But then there's the concept of competing businesses. If one oil company has more oil than the other, the prices shouldn't be different by a lot.
