The following Act of Parliament was passed today and granted Royal Assent. This Act will allow the people throughout the United Kingdom to have greater Religious Freedom and ensure that the government dosen't interfere with religion.

Religious Freedom Act

BE IT ENACTED by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Senator and Temporal, and House of Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

An act to allow the freedom of Relgion throughout the United Kingdom of Greater Benneria.

Short Title
This act may be cited as the Religious Freedom and Tolerance Act.

Commencement
This act shall commence upon the day it recieves Royal Assent.

Definitions
For the purposes of this Act:
"The Crown" shall represent the government of the United Kingdom of Greater Benneria.

Part 1 - Religion

1. Freedom of Religion
The Crown shall not make any law prohiniting the free exercise of religion.

2. Qualifications of Office
The Crown shall not make any law establishing a religious test as a qualification for any office or public trust under the Crown.

3. Religious Observance
The Crown shall in no way make any law imposing any religious observance, nor make a law preventing a religious observance.

Part II - The Church and the State

4. Seperation of Church and State
The Crown shall not interfere with the affairs of any religion unless they are harmful to the State.

5. Establishment of Church
The Crown shall not make any law for establishing any religion, or endorsing a current religion to the status of a State Religion.
