Secretary-General Fern: There seems to be some confusion about the role of the Security Council in U.N. and World Affairs. Therefore, I shall entertain a discussion to establish the jurisdiction of the Council, and hopefully a resolution in writing will come from this discussion.

As stated in the U.N. Constitution:
Quote:

Article II: Security Council
The UN will have a second legislative body, known as the Security Council. It will be composed of members elected by the legislative body. The legislative body may pass resolutions regulating the amount and role of the Security Council. In this executive body, each delegate has one vote. The sole purpose of the Counsel is to maintain the U.N. and its influence in the world. All cases involving the security and military relationships between nations will be heard before the Security Council. The Security Council has sole power over the actions of the U.N. to aid, punish, and engage with other nations A simple majority will pass an act.
So, the Constitution says that the Council is to maintain the U.N.'s influence, especially in cases of military and security, and it can aid, punish, and engage nations.

So, I think that the SC should have the right to make any decisions regarding the units [both military, trade, and U.N. structures], and to solve disputes between other nations.

UN Ambassador George Kelly: The Security Council should have the executive control. Therefore they will control Military units and Structures as well as land.

As a counter balance, I believe for the UN to go to war a resolution must be passed in the General Assembly.
