BOF Nuclear Treaty

BOF Spokesperson Master Yamus: First of all, I'll have you know that seven out of the eight BOF members voted to enact this treaty before I posted this (the last vote was an abstain.) How dare you question the use of democracy of the Brotherhood of Freedom. All actions by the BOF are subject to a strict vote and majority before they are enacted. Ask anyone in the BOF, the spokesperson has nearly no power, except to enact what the legislature wishes.

Second, nuclear weaponry is the single greatest threat to this world. By harboring them, you advocate their use. Using these unconventional weapons of mass destruction, you are advocating the gruesome slaughter of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians. But maybe that's what you want, since you are a corrupt fascist government, and not a democracy like the BOF, or even non-BOF members. Even nations that are not in the BOF have honored this treaty, so you will just further alienate yourself into your oppresive corner of the world.

The BOF have made it extremely clear that the use of military force is a very viable option, one left to soveriegn nations, and not the BOF. This proves that we aren't going to restrict the use of other military units.

Do not insult us again with your ignorance.

We will not listen to your capitalistic words. We despise them, we spit on them.

OOC: My incessant propaganda has paid off. This brings a tear to my eye! I have found new meaning in life!

OOC: lol, yeah will I like my new goverment style, and continue your propaganda :P

Confessor Zolack Morl: Bwah, that proves nothing to me. Your organisation hides behind closed doors, enforces secrecy. I wouldn't even be surprised Rezellia was enforcing this on all nations by simple stating that else they would send nuclear weaponry towards other nations.

And what do you call the greatest threat to this world? I would like to know but I have a small suspicion.

And don't you call us a fascist state mister Yamus. Long have we fought to eliminate the heretical fascists that ruled our nation, long have we fought but finally we are free. And we do not let some foolish corrupt organisation tell us what to do and what not to do.

And we are democratic, a few days ago elections were held, but only for that we have another way of deciding when our elections are held doesn't mean our nation is less democratic than yours. The people can at all times stand up to ensure that a certain motion is not passed. So please, do not call us fascists or undemocratic.

Master Yamus: Well Confessor, Benthamus, FarehamBoroLad, Ares, Mitxel, and Estorel, and myself voted aye. So ask them if the vote was free. And forgive me, I miscounted earlier, it was six out of eight (the other two never posted in the topic). As for secrecy, all the ideological organizations here (CON, FUSN, BOF) operate in secret. So if you want to blame us for secrecy, you have to blame them as well.

As I have stated, the greatest threat to this world is the threat of nuclear holocaust. How would Rezelia threaten other nations with nukes, if we were the first nation to disarm?

And what do you have against Rezelia? Did we not just give you a bunch of colonies in SEC? Should we take them back?

And forgive me for insulting your nation. You have previously been a FUSN member, and thus were undemocratic. But now I applaud you for your steps towards democracy.

Ambassador Robins: Pardon me for interrupting you debate gentlemen but I must comment on the Confessors earlier remark about outlawing tanks, bombers, battleships, and infantry. Would that not be a wonderful world in which things such as those needn't exist? And furthermore even if your accusations of the BOF being Rezelian dominated were true is it not also true that the countries, such as my own, who are not members must have signed willingly. This treaty does not say that you may not have WMD's but rather that by creating and maintaining them you accept the fact there are consequences.

Master Yamus: Well I thank you for your defense Mr. Robins, but the treaty actually does outlaw nuclear weaponry...

Prime Minister James Kelly: The Kingdom of Falklands will temporarily be pulling out of this treaty. We want this war to end soon, and if it goes on any longer we will be forced to take necessary action including Nuclear Weaponry.

(OOC: The war is boring me, I've offered KamikazeCow a sweet deal where he gets sectors in other region in exchange for some sectors in Centreland but he won't take it)

OOC: due the weather and real life i haven't found time to make a response, though the ideas are here :P

Confessor Zolack Morl: But as far as I know it was your organization that started with this secrecy. And I am not saying they voted for it because they didn't wanted, but I was saying that they had to vote, for as we all know mister Yamus, Rezellia is a superpower.

Though you have disarmed, you still have the funds and supplies to buy Weapons of Mass Destruction. Moreover, you have large military that you can use to threaten others.

In addition, I have nothing against Rezellia, I have something against nations that say that other nations cannot buy certain things. We are grateful for the sectors in SEC, they have been integrated in our country splendidly.

However, there is proof that this treaty is as much worth as the ash of foul traitors. Look at the words of Prime Minister Kelly. Stepping out of this treaty is easy, so why should my nation sign it in the first place?

However, if you do not disarm yourself, then we will do it for you.

Master Yamus: That's why. And its not Rezelia, thats the BOF talking.
