[OOC - 'Zook's computer crashed, so I'm gonna puppet Ambrose so we can get back to the ship] Jim watched the hatch pop open and saw his old friend come out. Jim ignored the fact he was still wearing the black uniform of a Titan. Words failed him as he embraced Ambrose like the brother he was. "Welcome back to the good guys, Ambrose. You did the right thing." Jim told him. "I know, Jim, its just that..." Ambrose trailed off, looking back at the Hazel. I know its your baby, Ambrose, but we'll take care of her Jim thought as he responded "Don't worry, we'll take care of her. Come on, let's get inside" Jim told him as the two of them entered the main cabin. "Ambrose, meet Lieutenant Commander Karl Tripitz, CAG of the Gibberish battle group. Karl, this is Ambrose Saytrus, my wingman and friend from the Hurricanes" he said, introducing the two of them. |

Karl smiled warmly and offered his hand for a handshake, "Good to meet you, I've heard quite a bit about you and your friends from the Hurricanes. I understand you're quite the pilot and an engineer to boot, you're welcome to fly with the 7th as long as it suits you," Karl peered over Jim's shoulder at the slightly strange Gundam model, "Though I gotta ask, what kind of suit is that? I mean I can tell it's a Gundam but it's just.... I've never seen anything like it." |

Ambrose returned the welcoming handshake and explained his Hazel. This is becoming tradition, isn't it? Explaining my Hazel... "She's certainly unique, there are only a few of them in the Titans. Back when I was a mechanic for the Federation, I designed this suit based off of the what was the newest Titan Mobile Suit, the GM Quel. So it's basically a suped-up GM Quel with lots of room for options and custom gear. Many of the systems on it were testing pieces for technology seen on later Titans Mobile Suits. Even some of the more powerful suits from the Titans have their roots in this mobile suit." |

Karl nodded understandingly, "I see, Zeon had units like that, never got to see any of them in action though, anyway we should make Von Braun shortly, so go ahead and reminisce with Jim for the time being, I'll be sealed up in the cockpit." Karl smiled at his last comment, *No smoking my ass.* He repeated in his head, offering a slight bow he turned and headed for the cockpit. |

"Thanks Karl. I'm gonna take your ride back to the Gibberish because I got no clue how to get back to her from your hangar. 'Sides, since Bill's leaving tomorrow we should keep this pretty quiet until he's gone. I'll take care of covering this up - before we land, I'll order the hangar cleared of all personnel, then we'll land and throw a blanket or something over the Hazel." Jim told Karl as he pulled Ambrose back. "Now, Ambrose, you show up in that uniform, you'll be shot on sight. Try this on" Jim said, tossing him a normal suit as they caught back up during the ride to Luna. OOC - no one in the hangar when we land. |

*Time skip bitches* Karl eased the Vindicator into the berth next to the Gibberish and accessed the docking clamps , keeping the ship held in mid air he called back to Jim and Ambrose, "Hey, go unload the suits, I ordered the crew to clear the deck until I say otherwise, so we can stow Ambrose's unit until we clear things up, Jim grab my unit and I'll take my ship back to it's hangar." |

Ens. Ibram Gaunt Ibram relaxed in the room he shared with another officer he hadn't met yet. (OOC: If any of you want to be roommates, just post yourself in.) His dog-eared copy of Animal Farm lay on the small shelf that served as a bedside table while an equally used copy of Catch-22 had found its way into Gaunt's hands. He'd unpacked his meager possessions and stowed it, clothing in the closet, a picture of his family stuck to a cork board above his desk, more tech manuals and novels than anyone should rightfully have shoved artlessly into the shelving unit, filling up any available space. It seemed that the majority of the space in the duffel he'd been carrying had been reserved for carrying Ibram's multitude of books. He couldn't get back to his Nemo to fly more simulator missions because all personnel had been mysteriously ordered out of the hangar. He'd been making some progress in the timed survival missions, where wave after wave of enemy mobile suits came at you endlessly until either the timer ran out or he died. He'd set them to the highest difficulty, trying to simulate real stress and real danger. He'd made it to the second wave of three before he was forced to stop, frustrated but resolved to do better. Now that he was shut out, the only thing Gaunt had to occupy himself was his book and reflying the missions over and over in his head. He felt like Yossarian, always two short of the mark. (OOC: Anyone who wants to knock on the door is welcome to.) |

Sean stayed in the bridge for the next few hours looking out into space through the opening of the dock for what he assumed was his last time. Space....it had always annoyed him, but at the same time he admired it's beauty. The lifeless void reminded him of how he was after his quest for revenge was fulfilled back in the war. Not having a purpose nor a reason to fight made him somewhat hesitant to enter the battlefield all together at that point, but when the battles started, he felt the need to survive more important than his own feelings. That's what Sean fought for after Starling's death, himself....but, the same thing could have been said for his quest for revenge in the first place. It was just one of those choices Sean would never understand. Peering out with his mind wandering, he saw Karl's ship dock with the Gibberish and thought nothing of it. 'Karl and Jim must be back already. Probably training somewhere in space. Idiots should know that they could run into Titans like that.' he thought as he left the bridge and heading for his room. |

"Right. I suppose seeing a Gundam in Titans Colors would cause quite the stir." Ambrose switched into a normal suit and moved his Hazel as requested. Things still felt very odd to him, but he was hoping that the adjustment would move along. |

Karl then remembered that the exchange would probably need his ship so he called the service crew on the com and ordered them to fuel the shuttle up for it's next journey. Sauntering up the loading deck Karl watched Ambrose set the Hazel into it's new berth, thinking for a second he hurried over to the storage area and grabbed an AEUG pilots uniform, jogging back to the Hazel he took the lift up to the cockpit, "Hey, when you're done we can talk about your unit assignment and get you settled in, but for now, change into this, that way you don't get shot." |

Seeing the canvas covering the Hazel to hide it from view, Jim grunted in satisfaction. Thank God. Still, make a note to the techs that once Bill leaves they need to check it to the last nut to ensure that Ambrose isn't double-crossing us... Jim thought. Even though the very idea of Ambrose betraying him was unthinkable, it never hurt to take precautions. Jim's time on Side 6 and the treatment of the Hurricanes had taught him that. Seeing Ambrose coming up in with his Titans uniform gone, in a simple set of AEUG uniform, he smiled. "Much better Ambrose. Come on you two, let's grab some chow and talk; I'm starving" Jim said to Karl and Ambrose, leading the three of them to the galley. |

The group arrived in the galley and Karl loudly ordered a large pizza for the three of them, sittign down Karl's face turned serious, "Alright, with Bill leaving, I'll need a new wingman, Jim, as much as I know that you want to fly with your friend, I need him more than your unit does, you're more qualified to train those nuggets." |

Really? Jim wondered as Karl told him Ambrose would be flying with Alpha Team. "You're serious Karl? We flew together for more than two years; we can predict each other's moves before we make them, and you're gonna break up the band?" Jim asked. |

"Normally I wouldn't but like I said, no one else is as qualified as you to take those nuggets into the depths of hell and bring them back out alive, besides, I'll need an experienced pilot to watch my back as well and with Bill leaving Alpha will need an official team leader." |

Ambrose smirked at the thought that he had already been described as an experienced pilot. Perhaps it was just modesty, but Ambrose never really thought of himself as that great of a pilot. "If we ever want to assemble the ENTIRE band, I think playing by Karl's rules isn't that bad. I'm not familiar with the other pilots, so this would be a good chance for me to get exposure to that as soon as possible." Ambrose turned to Jim. "We'll get our chance, man." |
