Looks like the British Library is the only place with a copy so far. Could buy one, but kind of spendy.

I decided to take a chance and just pre-ordered this on Amazon US. No date yet on when it might ship. $60 is pricey for less than 200 pages and it might be a dog, but it's about Mari! How many books are there on Mari? Anyone know of a good book on Mitanni in English? I found a couple on Amazon in French.

I'll let you know what I think of this book after I've read it.

Hi Brock

I don't know whether this is what you are looking for.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/3110265923/ref=...=I2PRFOD5I49O7M

I've never read the book myself though. I ordered it once but later on cancelled it due other priorities in 'roman warfare'..

so i don't know about it's value.

i have the book about mari but did not yet have a chance to read it for the moment being. a quick look at it shows that there are many pictures in it though...

I tried clicking on your link, Yves, but get the message "Page cannot be displayed." What is the book title? I'll see if Amazon.us has it.
