Chinese disk armour; Yep, they had it too

--Note that they are very similar to the disks from the Mannaean gauntlet, only larger.

They look nice!
But they also look like the disks the knights used to have in front of their armpits..
That wouldn't be the case here I guess.. just a thought.. :D
I saw it in movies more than once but of course I know I don't have to believe everything I see in the movies.. :P it was rather hard though to find somekind of example on the net.. but here is one.. could be someones fantasy or a fact but I guess it's got to be based on somekind of real found armor.. :huh:

They are shown in Ashdown's Armour and Weapons on a brass of John Leventhorpe, 1433 (37?), for example.
