Posts: 2 Group: Members Member #389 Joined: March 22, 2005	y dun the admin announce this topic out so that everyone will see it and they create a poll or something to see how many pple frm each section r there and see if its feasable to cre8 a band cause u may never know that there my not be any euphonium players at all.... after doing a poll den u all decide what kind of band u want to form. its not easy to form a band.... a lot of planning needs to be done

I too wish to have a bandmusic band, but i would think that forming such a band needs a mammoth effort in creating it.. just think .. for money alone, we need alot of money to buy the instruments alone and we haven got a room etc .. so its quite hard.. but i won rule it out when we all have reach 21 years old and are financially stable , maybe we can start a band by then... But i would really want to hear u guys comments about this.. CHEERIO Matt87

It should simply serve to bring interested musicians together with a venue and supported administration. Of course, when things are really stablilized, purchasing of instruments could come in.

Posts: 11 Group: Members Member #126 Joined: November 3, 2004	If u are serious i can help to find a venue for practise..Tampines Changkat CC..i can try there..as i noe ppl in the committee..actually my dad is in it..ha.i can check out wif him whether tt CC wants a band a not loh..as tt CC alreadi hav a guzheng grp, CO and i think they going to create a 'mixed' band..consisting of chinese instruments.western instruments, indian, malay..all kinds lah.. Den i think they can provide the fund to buy some perc instruments first loh..

If I were to love a band in the east, I'll go there and join the band even though I'm in the west. Anyway there are many CC band in singapore where many ppl gather. Join one as your part time activity and have fun there.

Posts: 13 Group: Members Member #38 Joined: November 2, 2004	anyway .. i think u all should jus have a small band like me n my friend la .. and actually go out n play for free first .. my friend n i used to play at clark quey last yr dec then got tourist come n see us la .. jus me (sax) my two friends (drumset n trpt) then we can jus play children song first .. ya .. like MARY HAD A BEEg LAMB .. something liddat la .. after o lvl we will go somewhere n jam again .. until then i tell u all more abt it la . consider my idea .. dun play super hard pieces first can alrdy .. try simple songs but yet can attract ppl's attention lor ..
