I don't play the oboe (I Don't think i ever can, the oboe is for talented peeps), but i found this website particulary useful. It doesn't really ONLY apply for Oboe. it touches on the various practice methods. Like, how you should practice scales first before moving on to the pieces, how to be a musician while juggling social life etc. It's a great webbie for all to look into. Of course some of the content vary as for different instruments. Tbone players don't have to spend as much time on reeds (or equipment for that matter) as an Oboe player. well, have fun, and practice hard! A little effort goes a lonnnnnnnnnnng way. CLICK HERE |
