Secretary Posts: 154 Group: Helpers Member #206 Joined: November 13, 2004	to summarize it it's just a little shorter than the full-length tenuto. the note is 'held' but not for full value. in fact, it's more of a style than a note value thingy. to me it sounds 'sticky'. correct me if i'm wrong cos i'm no music theory expert. listen to yau more.. he's better than i am. i'm just offering the simpler explanation
