Wow, that's cool! They're so overwhelmingly huge. I never realized how many differnt levels there are, though I guess all of those rocks at the bottom would eventually pile up to do that.

Did you go on one of the boats, or was that as close as you got?
Two paths diverged in a wood, and I, blind to the choices presented, wandered into the middle.

There's two separate 'main falls' I could get a pic of the larger Horseshoe falls becuase all the mist! I couldn't get a good angle. The Horseshoe falls are all the closeup pics, except the last one.

The American Falls are the ones with all the rocks at the bottom, I guess it collapsed, I didn't know about that top level either....which is cool.

There is a third falls, called the Bridal Veil falls, though I don't have it pictured.

I didn't go on the boats, they are freakishly expensive, and the definition of 'touristy'.xD We did go under the falls via some cave system.

Ahh, very interesting and informative! I didn't realize there were multiple falls systems, I guess I've just only ever seen pictures of the Horseshoe ones.

Probably.

Yah, Niagara falls is huge.xD There's so much water going over the falls, that you can hear it from anywhere in the town for the most part. It's very calming and soothing.

And that is after they take most of the water.xD
