I still remember playing both games a while back on the PS2 and although they were old in comparison to the graphics possible by newer consoles. the lighting and imagery was still breathtaking.

Has anybody else played either game and did you enjoy them?

I've played Shadow of the Colossus...good game, never even got close to finishing it though due to circumstances with our PS2.

I tried to get syko to play, but I don't think he ever did.

You tried to get me to play? I don't recall that, so if its true, I apologize! Anywho, I've only briefly heard of Shadow of the Colossus, and I think thats only from reading internet comics about games.

Ico, however, I do faintly recall... I think I played it with a friend way back when it first came out, but I really don't know much about it. It was the platforming adventure game where you played as a little boy who helped around a princess or something, right?

Yah, for about 3 weeks, I think you were morrowind obsessed at that time, and wouldn't play anything else.xDD

It's all right, since I never got past the 5th boss...I can't blame you for not picking it up.:P

Ahh, haha. Funny how I really don't recall that AT ALL! I mean, I vividly remember you constantly trying to get me to play Resident Evil 4 and Metroid. =P (Consequently, sorry about how stubborn I was at that time! ^.^)

Metroid I can support fervently, but RE4 loses it's fun after the second play-through. Ico, however, I've beaten three times just to see it again xD It was just so pretty back then, ya know? I'd like to see a game like it now, devoted almost entirely to graphics and environments, but alas, I doubt I'll get that until the next Zelda.

Hey, I'm not easily sucked into stuff! What's that, a banana covered with chocolate!? I'll take forty! [/obligatory spam in an attempt to comment in a thread which I otherwise have nothing else to add.]
