I know the name, but you would have to refresh me about what songs they sing. |

They're a 70s/80s prog-rock group, best known for their great concept albums. (Albums that tell a story or have an overarching concept among their songs.) Greatest albums: "The Dark Side of the Moon", "Wish You Were Here", "The Wall", "Meddle" Some songs you may have heard are "Wish you were here", "Pigs on the Wing", "Brain Damage (Dark Side of the Moon)", and "Another Brick in the Wall". |

I recognize some of those, but I dont remember what they sound like. Im sure their a lot better than most of the new crap coming out now, though. |

Name sounds familiar, but I don't know anything about them. I like some of today's popular alternative rock bands though. |

Well listen to a few albums if you can. (Start with the famous Dark Side of the Moon, 2nd best selling album of ever. It's quite good though.) Songs don't work as well by themselves, but "Brain Damage", "Wish you were here", and "Another Brick in the Wall" are all popular hits if you have iTunes. I like alt-rock today as well. |
