The flavor is great, as we've addressed and shall continue to discuss in my thread. This thread is simply about power level, because Goblin dosnt give a damn about Vorthos. In fact, I doubt Goblin even knows who Vorthos is. |

Good guess, but no. Do you know, or will you just keep responding with jokes, trying to steer the issue back to something relevant? |

R/W control, is not going to happen. You need so much LD to make an LD deck that you shoudl probably keep in mono-red in order ot keep up consistancy. Red dosen't tie in with damage prevention at all. Weenies...sure.

First of all, its a casual deck, not a super tournament deck. I almost made it conrol, with a bunch of huge global effects, ld, and white control cards. it could have worked. True the LD wouldnt work, but thats why i would splash something else in to balance it out. And red does tie in to damage prevention, if I had a bunch of board sweepers like slice and dice, and just prevented the damage to my creatures. Not very practical, but its fun to play. |

Well, I see how wrong you are, control is not huge global effects, its only part of control, and really only used to get that final litle kick towards a win. You need control cards, such as counter cards, or destruction cards, like destroy target creature type of stuff to make it control, and card drawing. That's blue/and black, adn LD manily. And thats classic burn in the last example, damage prevention is primarly prevent the X amount of damage. True it does prevent damage, but its more classiefed as killing things rather then preventing things. And even casual players know the closer you are to the limits the better your decks will perform, I've seen you get pissed lots of times when you draw nohting but crap, or lands or somehting, and not your bigger creatures, or the ones you want to play. |

That might be the definition of control, but you can still have control in other colors. It dosnt need to be only those things. And I do tweak my decks until I have every possible card out that I dont need, I just get screwed like anyone else. For this red/white deck that I made, I went through probably 800 cards until I got down to a 60 card deck. |

Seriously I've told you before, and I'll tell you again, your decks need to be smaller. Control can be in other colors, but not red/white, as red isn't a control color, IT HATES to think, and white is a splashed control color, it just dosen't mix well. Now, I could see a red/white prevention deck being built however, it just won't be that good, as red isn't a very good mixing color with that, you want more white in that, it tends to be mono colored. Is that red/white deck actually good I can't remember it, as you stopped playing it, at least I don't remember playing it... My memory is turning into a serious problem.

It was owning your red deck until you played an Armegedon
I agree, red/white control is not good, I was just using it as an example. And my decks are small, the only ones over 80 cards have a reason to be. And I know 80 is really big, but I would rather be able to play all the cards I want to than win reliably. |

Obliterate, and yeah you were, but you we're playign one of my worst decks, it dosen't win, it only likes destroying lands, and that isn't very good aganist any of your decks, just destroyes thigns like TaN, or Control, or Affinity. All your decks are like 80 cards big, you have like 2 that arn't, and then that prismatic one, which is okay becuase its prismatic. Well, I have to go, bye. Sorry if this is a reallly stupid argument, but it is. And why do we keep going at it is beyond me. |

Yes, that card is interesting.
Not really. Armegeddon is white(right?) and you were playing a mono-red deck. Plus, you destroyed everything, not just lands. And I know you would never use any of your old uber-cards. So im just an idiot. |
