Created becuase thats all we talk about in the 9th edition thread, so I just thought we'd do the whole game instead of just one set. So uhh...yep, I guess we can start something. |

So, what kind of reputation do you guys think that Mirrodin will have as the metagame changes and moves on? |

I fairly liked Mirrodin. It was annoying and fun all curled up into a tight package. |

Yes, but there were many this-card-looks-good-so-I'll-put-it-in-my-deck-then-find-out-it-sucks-two-months-later cards. |

More like annoying (at least for me), since I played mostly with old set cards and Val throws in artifacts/equipments that I can't do much about.

I didnt really like Mirrodin. It all just kind of felt bland and broken to me. So whats everyone's favorite deck type? |

The transition to a whole different sense of flavour, compared to the others, probably gave you that feeling. Um, as for the deck type...never really thought about it.

I liked the new plane and ideas, just the artifact theme kind of made everything the same in my mind. I liked the leonin though. |

I liked the novels for Mirrodin, though many really dislike it. It helped familiarize the themes and flavours about the artifacts more. It was good, but not as great as the other MtG novels.

Your local bookstore sells them probably in the section you never go to, try the fantasy section, I believe at borders its all the way at the end right before the childerns section on the second floor, if you ever go there, I don't know about Barns and Noble, or you can just pick up a fat pack.(Not a 9th edition one.) |

You can get them in the bookstore or from fat packs from your local comic/card/hobby store. OR you could just go to the library... |

You know, it's the land filled with books for miles around, where mystical creatures, savage dragons, captured princesses and brave knights roam, only to be powered by the imaginations of people. There people continously read their hearts out in hopes to keep this dream a reality. Thus, the Library is came to be known.

You have plenty of books, but the real question is...do you read them?
