People, please welcome Warrant Officer IV Dee Correy, callsign 'Kaizer'. He'll be learning the ropes in Amber Flight, under Llama.

Our new Yellow 11 is from the U.S., is in his early 20s and Infinity is his introduction to Ace Combat, from what I can tell. I don't believe he has any other titles yet.

Anyway, say Hi, shake his hand and welcome him to Amber Flight, Yellow Squadron and Aquila Wing!

Heyhey welcome! :llama:  :llama: Awesome to welcome a new fan to the AC series in our humble Aquila Wing :D

I'm Vega and as you can see I'm an alumni, which means that... euhm... what does it actually mean 13?

I'm Vega 05 at ACS, I'm from Europe, Belgium. Which means we could play together but connection issues would impede us to have flawless sorties. I tend to play with European members of ACS now because of that. Still it would be an honor to fly with you Kaiser, so feel free to add me ;) PSN -> AquilaVega.

Give this man his sig asap, he gotta represent!! :thum: Cheers! :laffspit:

Hey guys. Nice to meet you.

In the short time I've lurked around ACS, I've definitely took notice of you, Vega. I'll add you to my PSN as soon as I can.

I actually have two accounts, but I've been meaning to transition over to "Kaizerdragon-", and this is the perfect time to do so.

Enough about that. Let me tell you guys a bit about myself. I'm a plane junkie. It's my dream to get out there and fly, and has been since I've been a kid. Now, life in some form or another has kept me from yet achieving that, but I'm never giving up on it.

I have a medical condition that unfortunately disqualified me from service with the USAF, and in all honesty, it may even prevent me from commercial piloting as well. No matter how minor I feel it is, liabilities are liabilities. I'm in the process of consulting a medical examiner to see where I lie.

Aside from that, I'm a proud father and diligent husband. I work the graveyard shift with a security company as a supervisor. I'm usually up at odd hours because of this.

I've been aware of Ace Combat for years. For some reason or another though, I never owned a title. Infinity, given my current financial state is my best bet. I do have a PS2 handy in storage, but it will have to wait until I'm out of my predicament with moving. Once I get it back, I plan on picking up the other titles.

That's enough of that. 13, Vega, we need to organize a way for active members to all play on ACI. Even if it happens to just be three of us, I'm looking forward to flying with my mates.

If you guys have any questions for me, I'm an open book. Be more than happy to answer. Cheers!

So you noticed me on ACS huh? I'll take that as a compliment? :p

So you have a kid? Cool! How old is he/she? What's his/her name? :D
I'm already 30 and got no kids and no girlfriend. I really should make work of it before I completely miss that boat/train! I do however have a little nephew which I take care of from time to time. The son of my sister, Alessandro he's 3 years and he's starting to be a naughty kid now! But I love him to much to be strict with him, but I do end up exhausted at the end of the day! (always glad my sister comes to pick him up) Hahaha

What so you mean with doing a graveyard shift, you work as a supervisor of a security company at a graveyard? Or am I completely misunderstanding this? :D

Yeah my boy dream was also to be a fighter pilot, but I couldn't because of my eyesight. It was not 100% like it should be.

I'm definitely loving that fighter spirit of yours to gain more members! Let's do this!! :llama:  :llama:

Oh btw you're CO Llama also plays AC Infinity. Then there's also Enzonami, who's also an alumni like me, but I haven't seen him online yet. Llama is from Australia, Enzo is from US :thum:

Graveyard shift means anywhere from 10pm to 7am, really. And I supervise officers at a government building complex, in Arlington, Virginia, pretty close to the Pentagon.

My son's name is Adam, and he's three also! I'm not sure if he's at some kind of naughty stage, because he's generally a good kid. I'm his best friend for the time being, until he grows up a bit more.

I'll take note of llama and Enzo, and see if I can find their information in order to play. The more the merrier, right?

I'm definitely excited.

Our Big Chief 13 -> NME_Commander
Llama -> Awesome_Andy85
Enzonami -> EnZoEATyoBABiES (wth was he thinking when he was making his account name? ) But Enzo hasn't accepted me yet which implies he hasn't played it in a while?? I dunno

I'm gonna do 2 sorties now of supply fuel :sw:

My phone tells me it's around 3:30am where you are, is that right, Vega?

What times do you find yourself playing?

Yeah that's right, GMT+01. Well I normally do my 3 sorties at more or less 14.00 in my time (whenever I have the 3 supply fuel, or 2 and the third almost). & Then 12 hours later at 02.00. I aim to do 6 sorties a day. Because of it I just got my SU 35 which is the plane I wanted since the beginning :thum:

Given your time zone, you could most likely find me anywhere from 1600 - 2000 your time. I tend to get off work, unwind, then take off in my MiGs. My other account is at 1st Lieutenant, with the Zipang, Desert Rock, Morgan, Eagle, and Falcon in tow. But since I'm switching over, I only just made 2nd Lt.

1,700 posts, Vega! :thum:

I gotta say, with my record in Infinity (not bad with other scrubs but sucks against hi-rankers) Aquila will probably never field a competitive team, but we should still play together just because we're wing-mates. If you guys liked the symbol I showed on my planes and can get it, we can represent.

Kaizer, likin your energy and ambition. You can ask Vega, you do good shit, you get promoted.

Yeah, I'm guessin that I'm gonna be a whale with Infinity. Yesterday, I ran simultaneous aircraft and parts contracts in a 12-hour period. I stayed up all night and burned through all my Stocked fuel, but I now have a Lvl 5 F-4G (with UGBs! I LOVE UGBs!) a Lvl 4 F-16C and a Lvl 4 F-14, plus a recent acquisition of the F-2A (it carries UGBs too!). Now I need to amass some money to get my first Eagle and upgrade my F-4.

At this point, the only thing I can buy through the PlayStation Store is stocked fuel, and shit, that's kinda expensive!

I also have no headset. It's coming in the mail.

Meh. I'm gonna be a casual player with this, just play to have fun.

Wow 1700 posts... That's quiet a lot!!!

So... you're gonna be a whale or a casual player?

From my point of view a whale spends cash for fuel. A casual player relies on the supply fuel :D (If you aim for completing the respawn challenges, you can build up a reserve of stock fuel ;) That's what I do & from time to time I spend some on extra sorties and to really advance research ;) )

You'll definitely won't regret the Eagle. I grew to love it very much, it gave me quiet some nice victories. The Flanker however shows much promise.

We'll see what time tells. Maybe within ACS some competition might stir up as soon as enough players in general got what they desire at max level. All we can do now is have fun and work towards our personal goals within the game (obtaining your fav aircraft at level 10 & possibly other class aircraft to be versatile within your squad).

Aren't you working your way to the Super Flanker (or you going for the Fullback)? Just look at the Wardog tournament... You have to fly in a Tomcat (or the Zipang) to gain rank points for that specific tournament. It wouldn't surprise me they would hand out the Yellow Squadron SU 37 Terminator as price as long as you fly in a plane of the Flanker family... We just have to get our hands on that! :D (I might be a whale for that event :P ) Especially if your missiles leave a yellow trail of smoke and you gain the Yellow Squadron emblem!

In hopes of that event, my top priority is making my SU 35 a level 10 aircraft and leveling up the special weapons. Just to be sure B)

Well, I've personally maintained that I do better at A2G than at A2A, so I'm liking the F-2A with UGBs, once I get it ranked up.

I think I may wind up at the Fullback. ;) Of course, given enough time, all options are possible.

Thx to the Top Gun challenge in AC5 (remember that? :D ) I can do A2G aswell, but my fun really lies in A2A :thum: :sw:

Although pushing the engine to its limits while flying at low altitude taking out multiple targets with special A2G sure has its charm aswell! :D

Loyal soldier mentality sir. Nothing I hate more than seeing something good go to waste. I won't let this group fade as long as I'm here.

Also, 13, I'd love to fly with you too, casual or not. I think the trick is, we set a day in advance, a time, and stock like five extra fuel. Give a week, week and a half notice? There's no way this wouldn't work unless others aren't committed, or barring extreme circumstances.

That's my take on it.

Like I mentioned earlier, my now main ID is focused on Su/MiG craft, but my other account is all over the place.

Attackers, especially with UGBs are perfect for whale hunting. Maybe Aquila can band together for some S ranks? Public rooms are too awful for that.

Yeah, there's nothing to hosting a room, so we can keep it private till we fill up a side of 4 then open it to the public.

Or even just 4-6 of us splitting sides with or without bots. Could be fun for training.

Sounds good :thum: Plus when this becomes a regular habit for ur, we could all use an elite mercenary contract in the hopes it gives us a MD III

Even tactics can be deployed, instead of cannibalizing all the targets among us right before us and then head out to the middle for the main cluster of enemy targets (like in the map Aerospace Center & the Alps corridor). We could split up right from the start. When I play with 3 Spanish buddies, in Aerospace I like to head out to the middle to take out the fighters, 1 of them accompanies me in an F2 to take out all those sea targets. While the 2 other clean up and join us asap for the next fase in the mission. Sometimes we even get to clean up a couple of targets of the other teams enemy base base :P

Also when the next mission fase arrives like a squadron of F15C's, there's always extra non-red targets that you can kill to make some extra points. In such cases 1 of us could focus on those extra non important enemy targets. In my second account when I play with my Spanish buddies on Aerospace Center I fly the F16 Desert Rock. Since it's not very effective at dogfighting (especially not against T50's), I clean up a whole line of hovercrafts, When they are down, a new line of hovercrafts appear, but by then the squadron of F15C's are taken out and these targets disappear.

So with some squad training we can become fearsome in a relative easy way! :llama: :sw: :llama:

An excellent idea. We work as a team. We do that, and the S ranks will come flooding in.

What emblem should we all fly? It may take some time, but we should decide on something fitting and iconic, so when we go public, we go in hot with the reminder that Aquila Squadron players are something to respect.
