well in order to become and Elite Ace you must get 850,000 points total in AC5 I think..

Or just go to the Scooooore! thread for more answers

Every outfit's definition of an Ace is gonna be different.

The real life definition is, and has been since WWI, that you shoot down 5 enemy aircraft. Period.

On ACS, the point was correctly made that real life aces are going to be fewer, as there are fewer dogfights and air battles in today's world.

Aquila's definition of an Ace is that you complete Ace Level on AC4, 5 or Zero with all 'S' ratings.

However, we also maintain a higher standard. To qualify as an Aquila Elite Ace (and get that snazzy little cut in your sig :D ), you have to attain a total score for all 32 missions on AC5 of over 850,000. This does not have to be done in one run-through of the game, just that your 32 highest scores total above 850,000.

You cannot accomplish this unless you beat all missions on Ace Level with an 'S' rating, the scores won't allow it.

An AC4 Elite Ace (75,000 total points) gets the AC4 logo in his or her sig until they make E.A. on 5 or Zero.

We have not yet determined the score ceiling for AC Zero as yet.

There is also one Aquila Red Elite Ace, currently held by Red 01, who is the highest-scoring ace in the Wing. This award can change hands every 3 months, if you can beat his score, and he would have to wait 3 months to get it back, if he is able.

I hope that explains the subject to your satisfaction, 03.

850,000? Is that a total or do I need that for each mission?

OK, that is kind of a silly question, Reid. I think the highest score on any single mission in AC5 is around 60,000 points (I'm thinking Fortress and Closure, here.....)

Any scoring for Aquila will take place on Ace Level gameplay, and will include all scores for all mission tracks. This means, for example, that you count scores from missions 11a and 11b, in AC5.

I know that Zero has a couple of missions where you can choose between 3 different scenarios......still, only your highest score for that mission will be counted.

Also, for any of you who might be thinking in this direction, we have a lot of people here (myself among them) who have legitimately beaten these games at a high level.....we know the scenarios, and we have a good feel for when someone's reported scores are not consistent.

Anyone's scores may be challenged, and the one challenged must provide screenshots as proof. Failure to comply with this order, whether or not you say you don't have a camera, can be grounds form punishment, ranging from a reduction in rank to a Dishonorable Discharge from the Wing.

Your best bet is to do it honestly. We do not like and will not tolerate dischonest people in this organization.

That is all.
