Hey guys, while on facebook, I was reading a post by webcomicker Josh Lesnick of Girly fame and he mentioned a site of some girl that made a song about his webcomic. I checked it out and she isn't bad. She plays on guitar and even has other songs about webcomics. We MUST have her make a song for AIAC! It would be so awesome to have her become a fan and do one. Anybody up for convincing her? Here is the website: http://www.hello-the-future.net/ |

This girl has a really cool concept here. Not bad
I wholeheartedly support this idea ![]() I mean, I'm not sure if it's proper for ME to contact her about it, but if any of you want to, that would be unbelievably cool

This seems like a reasonable opportunity for another Kirby Krackle, who haven't done a song about a webcomic AFAIK, but have done plenty about comics and the internet (and cartoons and video games and, well, stuff), and many of their songs would make great material *for* a webcomic.....

Here is her reply: "Thanks for the suggestion–can’t say for sure whether I’ll be able to do the request only because I’ve got pretty much the next three months planned (so I can get everything done for Infinity Right Now). This might have to come way way way in the future, but I will keep Alone in a Crowd in mind. Thanks! Blue on August 23rd, 2010 at 6:39 AM" So, I guess it wont be right away. We can brainstorm something ourselves I guess, in the meantime for fun. What would you guys write about for an AIAC song? |

At least she's keeping it in mind. That's pretty cool Geez, that's a good question. I'm not sure. I spend so much time finding "AIAC" meanings in real songs, that I have no idea what I'd do to compose one. That, and I don't exactly have songwriting skills ;P I think the main subject of a song about "AIAC" should probably deal with the sense of feeling all alone, but then realizing you aren't. |
