On my Youtube Channel, I've now officially managed to pass 50 Subscribers!

My videos are getting at least 30 - 60 views a week... this thing is starting to come together nicely. I even have a fan who religiously calls me a legend every 5 minutes that we have a conversation on MSN! :happyhope:

That's awesome dude! :)

I guess my biggest news is that I went to Anime Expo in Los Angeles from June 30th to July 4th. As is becoming an annual tradition, my friends and I shared a way-too-nice-for-us suite at the Westin Bonaventure. My friend Crystal is an artist, and she sells her art at the Artists' Alleys of many anime conventions throughout the country along with her fiance (who is also my friend). So it was a pure vacation for me, but a working vacation for them. Also, my 31st birthday occurred while we were out there, which was nice.

I also took some pics: click here if you'd like to see them.

Sounds like a grand old time there Doc! Very cool :faith:

That reminds me, I never mentioned here that I went to Connecticon this past weekend. It was a lot of fun. Though it was a three day convention, Carolyn and I only went up for Saturday. It was enough though, as it wasn't quite as big as Anime Boston. There was actually a MLP:FIM panel, but believe it or not, it was packed and we couldn't get into it. I did see some MLP:FIM cosplay though. There was A LOT of awesome cosplay. And we got to watch a Super Art Fight with many well known webcomic artists. That was super cool. And of course you know by the vote incentive this week that I received a gift from an AIAC reader :happyhope:

I also got to meet fellow webcomic friend Shane McCarthy of "The Space Between," so that was pretty cool! Nice guy, for sure.

This topic hasn't been active since the summer but this is great news for me:

I GOT A NEW MACBOOK LAPTOP :happyhope:

Seeing as I had my old MacBook for the last 5 years, it was starting to show it's age & break down. It happened in stages:

1. The battery started degrading & turning off my Mac at ANY time.
2. The recharger I had decided to burn through it's own wires... rendering it useless
3. The trackpad mouse decided to have it's clicker jam, meaning I couldn't do ANYTHING without a wireless mouse.
4. The battery then decided to not be recognised, but still somehow keep my computer running, this made the keyboard not respond or function; which meant I had to plug in my wired keyboard to substitute

I knew my birthday was coming up & that I was most likely going to University next year & thought it was of paramount importance that I got the newest laptop avaliable to me. So I went out on Monday to London & my Dad got it for me... it cost a fair bit but this computer is to help me prolong my social endeavours & prolong my future; so it helps. After spending the last 4 days transferring ALL my data from one computer to another (all 110 GB's of it to be precise) I finally was able to start enjoying it today!

I'M SO HAPPY!!! :faith:
