So if you follow me on Twitter, you probably already know this. But if not: this past Saturday night I was privileged to see the legendary Bob Dylan live in concert.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect. I love Bob, but I'm also well aware his voice is no where near what it used to be. I was afraid he might not put on a good show because of this. But I was going to go anyway, because...come on, it's Bob Dylan! Just to be able to say I saw him live is something in and of itself.

Well let me just say, Bob and his band put on one GREAT show! While his voice is very raspy and gruff now, he's managed to find a way to make it work very well in a live setting. And the new style the band spun on the classic songs was an absolute treat to hear. I think the highlights of the show were "Ballad of a Thin Man," "Highway 61 Revisited," and my personal favorite Dylan song, "Tangled Up in Blue."

One interesting thing was that the jumbo screens were completely black during the whole show. There was no camera feeds of the stage like you get at most concerts. Bob also didn't speak to the crowd at all, aside from introducing each member of the band near the end of the show. Normally I'd be annoyed by such things, but in this case I wasn't. These songs have become a part of our history, and it almost felt like Dylan wanted the music to be the star, not necessarily himself. Still, seeing that iconic figure with the trademark hat in person was an amazing experience.

You saw Dylan? That's awesome Tom, glad to hear you had a great time (seeing as I don't use Twitter, as you all should know by now)!

Did he play Hurricane? If he did that would be awesome.

I've finally managed to get in Youtube! I've been trying for years to be able to get videos up on there & I have finally done it. I'm going to be ranting about wrestling only for now... before I branch off into other things. Watch Vids, Subscribe & Comment at my Youtube page here: http://www.youtube.com/user/CreamCrazy

No, unfortunately he didn't play "Hurricane." That or "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35," which kind of bummed me out a bit since they're two more of my personal favorites. But other than that, it was a REALLY great show! :faith:

Cool! I gave you a subscription (even though I haven't watched wrestling in a few years faithwhat )

Well, dumbass here accidentally ran her jeans through the washing machine with her iPod still in the pocket.

That scared me to death. When I realized what I'd done, I was gonna cry. I love my little iPod....

But here's the crazy thing......IT STILL WORKS!

Well, Im going to make my official leave from the forums.

Sorry guys, its just that currently im doing alot of other stuff and I barely have time to check out the forums, but still, I can see the community is growing nicely by all those posts in the Welcome Wagon xP
Anyways, FAST RUNDOWN:
TESTS - Recreation of my Fanfiction - New Fallout Universe centered Forum Text Play-By-Post RPG - ANOTHER STORY in my MODDB Page (Search same name here) - Digital Artwork in Icons mainly for mods to games - Projects and other activities during the week - Advancing in playing the Piano/Electric Piano - 3+ webcomics on reading/catching up, including this one - "Pro" card dealing being self-taught - Personal things

Allright, now detailed rundown.

Now, and alot of times before, tests were biting my backside alot, not to mention other work which im just dulled Thrilled from (its like, totaly blockin' enhancing my creativity man!)
Other than school things, I've started taking my litirature way more seriously, focusing on making it better, faster, stronger (Still hardcore Daftlvoer, that hasent changed one bit :D), and Im having many many side-projects which I once hoped to post here, seems quite pointless as I rarely have time to checkup on everything.
Even though that, Im making a mint-fresh Forum Text RPG based around the Fallout Universe, if you guys wanna know more about it, add me on steam @ vampiredoom or email me (address in my userpage).
I've also started practicing more oftenly on my "music", usually to manage play well using both hands on the piano, very hard indeed.
I've tried teaching myself both-hand syncs with Card Dealing, helps quite abit, though still practice makes perfect, but I shuffle a nice deck well :D

As I said, personal things (which btw, is edited final number in the quiz.) were happening, and I'm really out of words on what to say, so.. uh... was nice bein' here with you guys, and I may pop in from time to time rarely to see whats going on and.. uh... keep havin' fun.

Cross with you guys someday in the internetz later!

I've got a lot of coursework for college to do... some of it I'm finding easy (my Film Studies piece), whilst some are hard (English Language Piece). I believe I can get through it by the deadline.

Also, my Wrestling Rant show on Youtube now has this snazzy banner I made a small while ago! You can see it in my signature!

I'm already getting more views thanks to putting the banner on forums such as this one.

The "spiffy" banner was made by me, I just hope WWE & Google don't come at me with copyright shit due to it :sorryfaith:

Had a good couple of hours reminding myself of last nights awesome LiveStream with Tom & the gang. T'was awesome guys, hope it happens again soon; it really made what was up till then a dull night brilliant ^_^

I managed to finish the draft for my English Language Coursework: 1,593 words on how 3 texts use language to represent the controversial Scottish Comedian Frankie Boyle & the amount of Offense Comedy brings! Damn, it took me a few weeks to get it together, but I feel mighty proud of myself for being able to pull it off :faith:

The 5th Episode of Wrestling Rant, 1st of my 15 Minutes Of Fame Series is now up on Youtube, here's the vid if you wanna watch:

It has literally snowed so much here that the snow piled up from the snow plow and shoveling is higher than the wall that goes around my house  Makes it ratehr hard to pull out of the driveway. Can't really see beyond it to check if any cars are coming.

This has been one crazy winter. If it snows again, we're going to run out of places to put it.

Tom, this is what we need here in New England to cope with the snow:

Older than you, and still immature.

Hey, nice work there CreamCrazy! :) Congrats!

As for me, I finally got to see the Dropkick Murphys live in concert last night. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing a show it was. The combined energy of the band and the crowd was beyond anything I have ever seen at a live concert. They sounded great, and you can tell they have a lot of heart for what they do. During the course of the night, singer Ken Casey informed the crowd we were the third of this tour to break the front barricade. People were just nuts. When they broke into "I'm Shipping Up to Boston," it became a truly epic experience.

And I will say this: the love and respect these guys have for their fans is unmatched. At one point Casey got on the mic to offer a shout out to the security team up front for the hard work they were doing, but he then informed them to be more gentle with the fans who were reaching the front and all (you could see they were being rather rough). He said himself "we're not afraid of ours fans guys." Then, for the encore, Casey informed the crowd the venue wasn't going to allow them to have the crowd come up on stage with them like they usually do, so he told the crowd on the floor to spread in half (it was like he parted a red sea of people!), which he then proceeded to hop off the stage and walk straight down the middle of the crowd. He said "stay apart like this for the first verse, then once we hit the chorus you can smoosh into me or whatever ya want." He truly got right up in with the fans and sang with them. It was incredible.

Class acts those Murphys.

That sounds pretty damn fantastic, Tom! I'd read good things about the Dropkick Murphys and the mutual love between them and their fans, but it's even better to hear of the actual experience. Must've been a great thing to see.

I suppose I'll have to seek out their music and listen to it. :sorryfaith:

I (obviously) can't recommend them enough :happyhope:

It was! I'm just glad I was up above and not on the floor. People down there were just getting nuts
