Really like it for Wacky. Can't see Wright maintaining his current form. Wouldn't be the first time he's flopped after one good year at a club. |

Yeah Big Boy McEvoy has been on a constant scoring downward spiral though. Should get KPF/R next year so if anything covers a few difficult positions to fill. Any injury to Ceglar and I got myself a starting ruck. Simples |

Wright knocking on the door for top 15 small forwards this year. Even if Wright doesn't maintain his current form - McEvoy has stagnated amazingly at the Hawks. The only thing he has going for him is his position (for which he's not in the top 25 based on average per game). Not saying that I'd prefer Wright, but geez we're giving Big Boy some undeserved love and attention. |

He did the same thing in 2012, then his scores dropped off by about 20 points the next year. 2 years later he was delisted. |

He dropped off because he fell out of favour with the coach and lost his role in the team, as Carlton's current leading goalkicker/only decent small forward that is literally zero chance of happening next season. Wright's been a massive player for us this season, gets zero recognition around the league but can guarantee you'd be hard pressed to find a Carlton fan who isn't a big wrap for him in the side. |

Ha, yeah this is why I picked him up. Then Ceggles missed a week and the Hawks gave fkn Marc Pittonet his debut. Clarkson would rather play with 21 players than without his two ruckmen. |

We'll see if Pittonet comes in... If not - Wacky has struck gold with this call. McEvoy still needs to lift though - hard to believe he was once a 100+ player, he just seems to run to the wrong positions and have zero impact on games nowadays. |

Ya win some you lose some, McEvoy def has the ability to score well. Will have no excuse with majority in the ruck next year. They have tried to turn him into Hale this year and he's simply not forward minded. Bonus is with the time hes spent up forward surely he's KPF/R eligible next year Edited by Wacky Tiger, Aug 23 2016, 05:17 PM.

I actually hope they don't give rucks fwd/ruck - because if we're being honest, every single one of them spends time up forward nowadays. And it'd be shit if majority of rucks were also given fwd status because most of them out-score the gun KPF's. It would distort value something shocking. |

I think there's a case for some of them to be given fwd - I'd probably suggest blokes like Lycett, Kreuzer, Tippett, Campbell etc. spend enough time forward. McEvoy has game, but he was at his best when he was free to drop a kick behind play and intercept. I remember mid year a couple of years ago I had him as the AA ruck he was so dominant at cutting off attacks. Wasted playing forward or even on the ball to an extent, needs to be allowed to roam where he wants. |
